With a safe loading capacity of 225 kg for the standard beds and even 300 kg for the bariatric bed, extreme stability is offered, which also guarantees absolute safety when moving the bed. Naturally, all the beds in the series conform to the current safety standards. Through the use of high-quality materials, our products are exceptionally robust and long lasting. 4 INNOVATIVE MOTOR CONCEPT With our low voltage system, we offer greater safety for the resident and the care personnel. Thus, there is no damage or injury while moving the bed; our beds have collision protection, which initiates vertical adjustment initially from the transfer position. Also during active bed lengthening, there is adequate floor clearance. The safety design hand control combines a hand control and a locking key, and offers the opportunity to selectively lock the adjustment functions on three levels. In doing so, it is possible to select care mode, lock mode and resident mode. 5 4-STEP POSITIONING CONCEPT 1 Low position* With our low-level beds Impulse 400 and Impulse 400 LR100, the low position is achieved using a separate button on the hand control, which offers the resident optimum fall prevention. If required, this button can be deactivated using the lock function. Transfer position 2 The pre-programmed transfer position is quickly reached using the transfer button and, in connection with our mobilising side rail system, enables easy mounting and dismounting at sitting height. 3 Work height A comfortable and ergonomic work position is achieved for the care personnel through adjustment of the working height. In the care process, our side safety system with half-erected side rail elements offers additional protection for the resident with good accessibility for the care personnel. Comfort sitting position LYING COMFORT 4 * only with Impulse 400 (LR100) This position moves the resident to a comfortable, up-right sitting position, ideal for watching television, treatment or communication. The spatial orientation is improved and the breathing and circulation are positively influenced. The intelligent adjustment procedure with backrest retraction prevents contact of the resident with the headrest and at the same time has a pressure reducing effect in the seat area. In this way, there is no danger of collision when extended. Activation is possible without tools, via two locking pins. The high quality bush bearing guarantees the highest degree of stability when extended.
