2 PUMPS OF VOLGOGRADNEFTEMASH - HIGH LEVEL OF QUALITY AND RELIABILITY Volgogradneftemash JSC has been producing and supplying centrifugal pumps for more than 65 years practically for all Russian processing companies in oil, gas and chemical industries and also delivering its products for export. Design and process department of the company are constantly doing work in improvement the produced equipment aimed at increase of service life of the pump units, higher safety during operation, and also in development of new types of pump equipment. High-qualification personnel, use of modern software makes it possible to meet various nonstandard technical demands of customers. Volgogradneftemash JSC has a full range of production equipment to make pump units in accordance with Russian and international standards. The Company has in-house foundry where pump components are made using a new technique of lost foam casting. Machining is carried out on modern high-tech equipment with programmable control. The quality control is accomplished at each production stage using various diagnostic facilities including ultrasonic, radiographic examination, hydraulic and helium tests. After assembly all the units are subjected to testing on diagnostic suite where head, energy and cavitation parameters of the pump, rotary speed, capacity (flow rate), head, temperature of pumped liquid as well as that of bearings and electric motor, bearing housing vibration, current and power consumption, mains frequency and voltage are measured with high accuracy. The testing process is entirely automated. This Catalogue of pumps contains a list, description and performance of pumps and pump units produced by Volgogradneftemash JSC which can be used for a wide range of capacity (2.5 to 1900 m3/h) and head (13 to 850m of water column). The materials used for manufacturing of pumps ensure trouble-free operation of the pump equipment at ambient temperature from minus 60 up to plus 45 C and give the possibility to pump over chemically aggressive liquids with temperature from minus 80 up to plus 4 C at gauge pressure up to MPa (0 kg/cm2). These pumps are designed for operation in explosion hazardous zones, and the structural integrity ensures pump operation at a seismic activity of magnitude 8 on the Richter scale.

Volgogradneftemash JSC manufactures overhung and between-bearings pumps. A product group of sealless pumps with magnetic clutches.

All pumps are complete with bearings SKF, FAG, NTN or Nachi bearings. At customers' option, end seals produced by TREM Engineering, ANOD, EagleBurgmann, Aesseal, John Crane can also be used.

Depending on the customers' specifications electric pump units are equipped with electric motors of recognized national and foreign producers such as ATB, ATB Schorch, Siemens, ABB, and WEG. All pumps are complete with bearings SKF, FAG, NTN or Nachi bearings. At customers' option, end seals produced by TREM Engineering, ANOD, EagleBurgmann, Aesseal, John Crane can also be used. Models and manufacturers of sensors for skid-mounted pump units are selected in compliance with customers' requirements. NEW DEVELOPMENTS Volgogradneftemash JSC is actively working on the development of new pump models. The Company's specialists focus mainly on the improvement of reliability and energy conservation of the pump units. The customers' standards applied at various refineries require that pumps with flow rate above 360 m3/h should be betweenbearings type. Since 15, between-bearings radially split pump units of BB2 type according to API 6, НТ 600/0, НТ 600/125 with 600 m3/h flow and 0 and 125 meter head have been put into serial production. НТ 600/0 Pump units HT 600/0 were manufactured for the Delayed Coking Unit at Tatneft, and HT600/125 for the Jet Fuel Unit at Gazpromneft-Omsk Refinery. In 17, a new model of the pump HT 600/400 of BB5 type to API 6 was put into production as an alternative to the overhung pump НКВ 600/3. The reduced rated speed (1500 rpm) provides improved cavitation properties and low vibration for a wide range of flow rates (0 to 750 m3/h) and expected operating region of about 80% of best efficiency flow rate of the pump. These are singlestage pumps with a finned bearing housing along the entire length and the exclusion of the angle block. The Company plans to develop centrifugal sealless process pumps with shaded-pole motors in accordance with API 685. Pumps of types TKA, HKB, HK and pump units on their basis 5.1 Intended use Petroleum centrifugal pumps of type К and pump units on their basis are intended for transfer of oil, petroleum products, liquefied petroleum gases with density not exceeding kg/m3. The pumped-over fluid shall not contain solid particles with sizes exceeding 0.2 mm. The fraction of total mass of the solid particles shall not exceed 0.2%. The temperature range of transferred liquids is from 193 up to 673K (from -80 up to C).
