5 Research Laboratory The Hydraulic Research Laboratory is indispensable for performance tests on models of super-large pumps and hydraulic turbines, and for basic experiments such as analysis of transient phenomena at the time of motor trip, complete characteristic tests of pumps, etc. This facility requires high measurement accuracy. Thus, the direct flow measuring device is provided to calibrate the flow measuring apparatus. HYOSUNG GOODSPRINGS is also performing basic experiments and research on complete characteristics of pumps, studies on improving pump performance and suction performance.
