2 1.DESCRIPTION OF THE EQUIPMENT Mini oil refinery H-150 can produce: - Straight-run gasoline; - Diesel fuel L or Z; - Furnace oil at oil or gas condensate field, or at oil product consumers area. Also, mini refinery can produce kerosene and motor fuel. Mini refinery can proceed both oil and gas condensate without making any changes in construction. Oil production is organized quickly and doesn't require huge capital investments. Mini refinery H-150 is completely automated, and it requires minimum operating stuff. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS 1. Crude capacity tons/day ( bpd); 2. Light oil products capacity 84 tons per day (2840 gal/day); 3. Type of crude: oil, gas condensate, oil and gas condensate mixture; 4. Maximum overpressure in devices 0,65 kilogram-forse/cm 2 (9,3 PCL); 5. Climate conditions: temperature C ( F); - relative humidity 0 100%; 6. Voltage of external power circuit V; 7. Approved electric power kwt; 8. Type of fuel - diesel fuel, black oil, natural or liquefied gas ; 9. Consumption of fuel for crude heating 180 kg/hour (53 gal/day); 10. Personnel (per shift) Footprint: - length 30 m (98,4 ft), - width 40 m (131,2 ft); 12. Dimension of equipment: Unit B-1: - length 20,08 m (65,9 ft), - width 5,86 m (19,2 ft), - height 5,37 m (17,6 ft); Unit P-1: - length 9,9 m (32,5 ft), - width 2,6 m (8,53 ft); height in transport position (except chimney) 2,44 m (8,0 ft), height in work position (including chimney) according to project; 13. Mass 54 t; 14. Life-time 6 years Mini refinery consists of several blocks. Dimension and mass of the equipment allows transportation by truck or trailer. Crude capacity may vary: +/- 20% nominal charge. Peculiarity of construction is usage of horizontal mass-transfer equipment. Division of crude into fractions takes place in horizontal rectification device. Crude heating takes place in a tube heater. Type of fuel for two heaters is black oil; for one heater black oil and non-condensed hydrocarbon gas. Above that 41,6 % of heat is recuperated in heat exchangers. Cooling of products takes place in air refrigerators. Product cooling takes place in air refrigerators.

CRUDE REQUIREMENTS To provide normal work of mini refinery and good product output, the crude (oil or gas condensate) for H-150 must meet the following standards: 1.Content, % mass Hydrogen sulphide - absent Mercaptans - absent Sulphur - not more than 1% Paraffin - not more than 9% Water not more than 0,15% Chloride salt not more than 15 mg/dm 3. 2.Fraction output below C (662 0 F) not less than 50% of crude 3. After light fractions below C(662 0 F) separation, residue will meet standards of fuel oil 100, State Standard Other crude requirements must meet State Standard for oil EQUIPMENT PLACING Equipment placing must provide the opportunity of installation and deinstallation of the equipment, passages, transport passages for mini-refinery services, fire protection passages between the refinery and other buildings. 2. Placing of engineer equipment and networks must be done according to standards for highly explosive industry. 3. It is necessary to maintain foundations and trays under all the units of the refinery; to maintain bearings under all pipe-lines. 4. Mini-refinery must be equipped by a lightning protection device, ground connection and static electricity protection. 5. The size of sanitary protective area must meet actual approved standards. 6. Technical requirements for process control 6.1 A control panel must be installed in a control room. 6.2 The control room must be placed m ( ft) far from the refinery; windows must face the refinery. 6.3 Construction of control room must provide firmness against air-blast not less than 28 Kpa. 6.4 Climate conditions in the control room must meet actual sanitary-hygiene standards. 6.5 Working area of the control room must be not less than 8 m Operator s table must be equipped with a wire and a circuit 220 V, 50 Hz. 6.7 To install a distributing switchboard and control cabinet, a board room must be provided. 6.8 The board room must be 30 m (100 ft) far from the refinery. Minimum square 20 m 2. Temperature C. 6.9 The board room must be equipped with a four-wire power cable, 380 V, 50 Hz, cable size fit for 150 kwt Indications of control devices (control of crude and product level in vessels Cable overpasses between the refinery, board room and control room must be laid on steel bearings. 7. Technical requirements for vessels (workshop store)

4 7.1 To supply crude to the refinery, an intervening crude vessel (200 m 3 - a daily amount of processed crude) must be provided. 7.2 The refinery must be connected with the intervening crude vessel by a fixed pipe-line. 7.3 Intervening crude vessels and product vessels lowest points of discharge must be situated 1 m higher than pipes. 7.4 Intervening crude vessel must contain tankage for settling water, pipe-line for water discharge, heat insulation, heat registers for water heating at 10 0 C above the pumpability loss temperature. 7.5 Product vessels must have a reserve space at a rate of 2 days of work. There must be not less than 2 vessels for each kind of oil product. Vessel for defectives must be not less than 100 m The refinery must be connected to product vessels (each kind) by fixed pipe-lines laid in pipe-line overpasses. The pipe-lines must preserve heat for transportation of products by gravity flow 7.7 An embedded vessel (not less than 50 m 3 ) equipped with a pipe must be provided. In case of emergency all devices must be empty. 7.8 Depending on the kind of crude supply, an oil store, oil product store, confluent and loading racks for railway and motor transport must be provided. 7.9 Intervening and ware vessels, pipe-lines for black oil and other tough oil products must be equipped with heating and heat insulation. 8. The refinery must be equipped by a fire suppression system according to actual standards. 9. The refinery must be connected to technical nitrogen source by a fixed pipe-line. 10. Electricity supply General electricity supply for the refinery must be provided from two independent mutually reserving power sources 350 V, 50 Hz, capacity 150 kw. It is possible to install a reserve diesel power plant Power electric network must be protected from voltage steps Industrial site must be provided with constant lighting of all the units of the refinery. 11. Water supplies and sewerage The industrial site must be equipped with a water-pipe fit for fire suppression. The water-pipe system is made according to the site plan The site must be equipped by industrial - showerly sewer according to site plan Trays of vessels and technological equipment must be connected to sewerage 12. According to the site plan, the following objects must be installed: boiler plant, hot water pipe-lines, heating system for buildings, crude and products heating system (to provide crude supply and products output). 13. The industrial site must be equipped by telephone and fire emergency signaling 14. A ware control laboratory must be equipped to control the quality of crude and oil products.
