Compact refineries (mini-refineries) Rustranstek through its partners offers wide range of compact refineries (mini-refineries) with crude oil output from 10 to 500 thousand tons per year. The latest mini-refineries offer: The use of horizontal fractional distillation apparatus which decreases the size of the plant. The operation frequency control of pumps and fans offer easy of operation, control reliability, and high stability of production quality. Our compact refineries are able to process oil and gas condensate without any changes to the equipment design; are designated for production of petrol/gas, diesel fuel and residual oil in areas where oil or gas condensate is lifted or oil products consumers are located. The production of oil products is organized without considerable expenditures and in short terms. These compact refineries are fully automated and designated to operate with minimum number of service staff. Depending on technical conditions of Consumers refineries are delivered in the following modifications: Basic modification, should be run at the temperature of ambient air from -40 o to +35 o C. Arctic modification, should be run at the temperature of ambient air from -60 o to +35 o C. Hot climate modification, special designed to run at the temperature of ambient above +35 o C. Corrosion resistant modification. Modification with increased number of output.
Compact refineries (mini-refineries) Offered refineries are adapted for operation on different types of fuel: Natural gas or liquefied gas. Diesel fuel. Residual oil. Crude oil. Requirements of raw material: Hydrogen sulphide absent. Mercaptans absent. Total sulphur no more than 1%. Paraffin no more than 6%. Water no more than 0,15%. Chloride salt no more than 15 mg/dm 3. Equipment of compact refinery: Heaters. Processing module: Horizontal rectifier. Evaporators. Heat exchangers. Air coolers. Reflux tanks. Processing module pumps. Technological process automated control system.
Mini-refineries & horizontal fractional distillation apparatus The main features of the offered mini-refineries: Compactness, modular design. The use of horizontal fractional distillation apparatus. 100% operational readiness. Full automation. High quality of final products. Horizontal fractional distillation apparatus advantages are: Compactness, low height. Operation in the wide range of charges. High precision of fractionating. Possibility of placement on a movable platform (automobile, vessel). Easy starting.
Special modifications of compact refineries (mini-refineries) Special modification of compact refinery provides the change of technological scheme in order to reduce or increase the quantity of oil products output, moreover any modification combinations of compact refinery by its corrosion resistance and climatic conditions are possible. MODIFICATION WITH 2 OUTLETS In cases where processed raw material have boiling end temperature below 350 o C (some types of gas condensate) compact refinery modification with two outlets may be used. The feedstock is divided into petrol and diesel fraction. When refining raw material with boiling end temperature below 220 o C petrol and kerosene are produced. MODIFICATION WITH 4 OUTLETS Additional outlet of kerosene. If it is necessary to produce kerosene except petrol, diesel fraction and residual oil, pumps, evaporator, heat exchanger and residual oil air cooler are additionally included into technological scheme of compact refinery. The kerosene outlet is carried out from 4-th,5-th or 6-th chamber of horizontal rectifier. The properties of petrol and diesel fraction are changed during kerosene outlet, petrol density is reduced but octane number is increased. Received diesel fraction has got higher density, viscosity and flash point temperature. Additional outlet of motor fuel. Pumps, evaporator, heat exchanger and motor fuel air cooler are additionally included into technological scheme of compact refinery to carry out the motor fuel outlet (it s a diesel fraction with increased boiling end temperature). The motor fuel outlet is carried out from the last chamber of horizontal rectifier.
Special modifications of compact refineries (mini-refineries) MODIFICATION WITH 5 OUTLETS Compact refinery technological scheme of this special modification is supposed to produce 5 types of oil products petrol, kerosene, diesel fraction, motor fuel and residual oil. Compact refinery special modification with 5 outlets allows to use more efficiently the processed raw material to get qualitative oil products with maximum economical profits.

Features and Benefits: Modularity and Compactness: Refining Units can be mono block or consist of several modular Units. This enables easy installation at the customer site. The modularity offers increased operational readiness and substantially decreases installation times. Horizontal Distillation Apparatus (HDA): HDA decreases the height of the modular unit from meters to 5-6 meters. HDA delivers sharp fractionation of petroleum products. HDA specifically designed for use in small scale refining units and can be mounted on mobile platforms. Fully Automated: The Refining Units are delivered to the customer s site completely ready for installation, commissioning and start up. The delivery kit includes a modern process control system. Automation allows to fine tune the quality of petroleum products during production. Choice of Crude Oil or Gas Condensate: Refining Unit can be used for refining crude oil or gas condensate of different density (API) Switching from one type of raw material to another can be made during operation with stopping the refining process.
