14 All for ONE ONE for all: The CLASSIC ONE XL combines maximum user convenience with quality Laboratory equipment such as safety cabinets must satisfy high health & safety and environmental protection standards. The requirements of the laboratory owners and users are therefore clearly defined: Safety for man and the environment, permanent availability, low follow-up costs, high functional capability and good convenience & comfort. DÜPERTHAL's safety cabinets offer a fundamental solution for the storage of flammable liquids combined with optimum convenience for the user. Each safety cabinet for flammable liquids must fulfil all legal regulations before it is approved for the market. It must comply with the Equipment and Product Safety Law (GPSG) as well as the DIN EN standard "Fire Resistant Storage Cabinets, Part 1: Safety Cabinets for Flammable Liquids". Part of this DIN EN includes fire chamber tests according to which recognised test institutes determine the fire resistance of the individual safety cabinets. With the European laboratory furniture standard DIN EN 14727, a further mandatory programme exists for the compliance of laboratory equipment quality characteristics, which has been taken into account by DÜPERTHAL since the laboratory furniture standard was introduced. The laboratory furniture standard defines the requirements for cabinets used in laboratories and checks focal topics such as strengths, durability and the quality of products and therefore their permanent safety. High quality in the laboratory The High Quality Seal from TÜV Süd provides good orientation for laboratory users who also require a high degree of convenience and economic use. It signals that the product properties extend beyond the legal regulations as well as the requirements of the standards. In addition to this, the product also convinces with high-quality features and fittings, particularly good user-friendliness and an extended life. TÜV Süd also demands that the company concerned works with a quality management system, e.g. ISO 9001, because this guarantees the "continuous improvement process", i.e. continuous further development of the products. Regular inspections of the production facilities by TÜV Süd support permanent fulfilment of the high quality seal standards, including: - Existence of incoming goods inspection of raw materials as well as their documentation - existing delivery mechanisms, including with respect to faulty supplier parts and materials - Existing training and further training of employees - Comparison between the actual production of the cabinets and the approved type drawing - Sequences in outgoing goods control. New: Single hand wing door technology The new CLASSIC ONE XL technology offers maximum user convenience. The decidedly easy moving wing doors can be opened simultaneously with a single hand and minimum effort. In the event of a fire, they are automatically closed. A thermo-element initiates the door-closing. The ingenious design prevents containers from being tipped over when the doors close.

15 Superior design: Harmful vapours are extracted at every level in the CLASSIC ONE XL and not only above the bottom tray. Visual signals in the safety cabinet make it easy to recognise that the CLASSIC ONE XL's ventilation is functioning properly: If the ventilation cut-off flaps are green they are open and ventilation is possible. The ventilation is interrupted, i.e. closed, if the ventilation cut-off flaps are red. Due to the self-weight of a safety cabinet, the cabinet feet of the CLASSIC ONE XL are very robust to ensure safe transport. The cabinet feet are also adjustable, so that any unevenness in the floor can be levelled out. The matching base is offset towards the back to prevent people from hitting their feet on it. User friendly: Due to the single hand wing door technique of the CLASSIC ONE XL, the user can conveniently open both doors of the safety cabinet simultaneously with hand only, without having to put down the flammable liquids. The ergonomic lock positioning for easy access and the integrated lock cylinder in the door, compatible with lock systems, make closing and locking the safety cabinet even easier and safer. The standard Equipotential bonding tab on the top of the cabinet for connection to the earthing according to BGR 132 prevents danger of ignition.
