Food safety conditions The material used, RAU-PVC 7806 (polyvinyl chloride), contains plasticisers and is a non-toxic material quality with calcium zinc stabilisation. A declaration of no objection as per 21 CFR FDA Sec is present with the registration number 27558U09, for hosing materials that are suitable for contact with aqueous, acidic or alcoholic foodstuffs at an application temperature no higher than 40 C, as per the American categories (Sec ) for food types I, II, III, IV-B, VI (up to 10% alcohol). Declaration of conformity as per Regulation (EC) no. 1935/2004 and Regulation (EU) no. 10/2011 RAUFILAM-E conforms to the Regulation (EC) no. 1935/2004 on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food; for grease-free, solid, aqueous, acidic or alcoholic foodstuffs up to a maximum alcohol content of 15% at an application temperature of no more than 40 C (food categories A, B and C; room temperature). RAUFILAM-E hoses are not suitable for contact with greasy foodstuffs (food category D). di s The polymer material RAU-PVC 7806 used for the production of RAUFILAM-E hoses complies with Regulation (EU) no. 10/2011. The hoses contain substances with SML and/or QM values, for which compliance with the limit values for the aforementioned application conditions have been confirmed based on corresponding laboratory experiments. The permitted surface/volume ratio results from the inner diameter of the RAUFILAM-E hoses. RAUFILAM-E complies with Regulation (EC) no. 2023/2006 on good manufacturing practice for materials and articles intended to come into contact with food. The production and administration sites possess the relevant ISO-9001 certifications and QA systems. Drinking water conformity The composition of RAU-PVC 7806 corresponds to recommendation I. of the German Federal Institute for Risk Evaluation (BfR) as well as the regulations for drinking water pipes (KTW) of Germany's Federal Environmental Agency (FRG). A test certificate as per KTW-C for cold water (23 C) and warm water (60 C) is present from size DN 4. RAU-PVC 7806 also complies with the French ACS drinking water approval for equipment items. Other conformities RAU-PVC 7806 meets the end-of-life vehicles directives 2000/53/EC and 2002/525/EC, as well as the RoHS directives 2002/95/EC and 2011/65/EU on electric and electronic devices, directive 2003/11/EC and directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment. RAU-PVC 7806 contains no SVHC according to the ECHA candidate list or annex XIV. of the REACH Regulation (EC) no. 1907/
