SP Rack Smart Profile SP Rack System Complete rack stability with IP54 rating for reliable dismantling, extending and baying The development of the SCHÄFER SP Rack System is the practice-oriented, innovative answer to the permanently increasing demands placed on data, server and network technology. Tailor-made standard, modular solutions are also an effective way of saving your time and money. In keeping with this principle, SCHÄFER IT Systems has a wide product range on offer which also provides great scope for individual solutions: pre-assembled complete cabinets in two standard colours as especially economic solutions, available at short notice. individually configured customised versions in all usual dimensions, delivered in the shortest possible time. Besides their modular design and flexibility, all SP Racks offer cutting edge advantages for users and comply with the latest international standards, IEC 297-1/2 (19 ) and IEC (metric), as well as DIN EN and DIN (IEC 68-1). The multiple-profiled basic frame is very strong and yet lightweight. Integrated 25 mm pitch patterns on all sides allow system accessories to be installed easily and economically. It is also possible to combine SP Racks with PX Racks in bayin solutions. Doors and side panels can be removed and replaced very quickly to guarantee all-round access. The cabinet s excellent one-colour design in either RAL 7035 (Light grey) or RAL 9005 (black) blends harmoniously into any environment. 14

SCHÄFER IT cabinets provide the ideal basis for IT infrastructures. With this elaborate concept, allowing the installation of any IT components, such as servers, hubs, routers, switches and their wiring both for desktops and towers as well as for 482.mm (19 ) formats, a central enclosure can become the junction for the connection of numerous work stations. All IT Enclosures consist of a basic frame, on which side panels, front glazed door and sheet steel rear door can all be detached to guarantee free access for installation and maintenance. Pivoted door handles with security locks prevent unauthorised access. There are two fans mounted in the roof plate (can be extended to four if required. Installation holes are available) with a thermostat to counter thermal problems right from the outset. In this range, SCHÄFER can offer the classical network cabinet solutions as well as server cabinets of 800 and 1000 mm in Depth and Widths of 600 and 800 mm. The customer has the choice between extremely low-cost complete cabinets, which represent the basic, easy-to-use designs (with rear wall), or solutions including a rear door. To change the doors from left to right-hand opening, simply lift out the hinge pin and replace them in the fixings provided. NT Box Wall Cabinets NT Box Flat-Pack Practical delivery and quick to assemble Flat-Pack The development of the flat-pack version of the NT Box is SCHÄFER s response to the growing logistics and assembly demands of network technology. The base model consists of the SCHÄFER lowcost, modular, standard wall-mounted system with removable doors and side panels. The flat-pack NT Boxes, however, are designed to have the lowest possible packaging volume, while keeping the required assembly work to a minimum. In only four steps, the complete distributor - either on the ground or wall-mounted - can be assembled by one person. Our standard range of accessories enables the Box to be extended as required. Economically efficient: maximum saving of transport volume Economically efficient: maximum saving of storage space, low space requirement despite high versatility Cost effective and efficient assembly on site in only four steps and by only one person. With a team of approximately 80 engineers and technicians using the CAD systems Inventor and Pro Engineer, SCHÄFER develops solutions for all the daily enquiries. Our own prototype construction departments at three production sites guarantee the rapid transition from development to production, always in complete coordination with the respective customer. Professional metal working expertise and an all-encompassing range of services guarantee series production in large numbers and of certified quality. Using this approach, SCHÄFER WERKE develops, manufactures and assembles many different products to order. Besides the parent plant in Neunkirchen/ Siegerland, commission manufacturing is carried out at one other plant in Germany, at Betzdorf an der Sieg. Since 1995, SCHÄFER has also been operating a production plant in Ledecˇ nad Sázavou (100 km south-east of Prague) in the Czech Republic.
