1 Tata Motors showcases its range of Passenger and Commercial Vehicles at the 10th Manila International Auto Show, MIAS 2015 Showcases 6 Heavy and Light duty commercial vehicles with various applications from its popular PRIMA and ACE brand of commercial vehicles Showcases 3 diesel powered passenger cars, including the Tata INDIGO sedan Taxi Manila, April 9, 2015 Tata Motors today showcased a world tested line-up of light and heavy commercial vehicles, along with a diesel-powered range of passenger cars, at the 10th Manila International Auto Show, MIAS Fully-built for varied business applications, Tata Motors showcased six commercial vehicles, from its light and heavy range of PRIMA, XENON and ACE family of commercial vehicles, while showcasing three diesel powered passenger cars, from its VISTA and MANZA range, along with the fuel efficient INDIGO sedan in Taxi livery. 2 TATA MOTORS COMMERCIAL VEHICLES on DISPLAY In commercial vehicles, Tata Motors showcased a heavy-duty range comprising the World-Smart PRIMA commercial vehicle. Being developed with Tata Motors subsidiary Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicles (TDCV), the PRIMA first introduced in 2008, was responsible for setting new benchmarks in performance and design, of a next-generation commercial vehicle based on superior technology, optimum power, fuel efficiency and safety, in the Indian commercial vehicle space. Built with technical inputs from across the world, the PRIMA is based on an Italian cab design, engine technology from the US, gearbox expertise from Germany & US, chassis frame know-how from Mexico, sheet metal die design from Japan and Korea, combining Swedish precision on a robotic weld line. Present at the motor show were the PRIMA S tractor head which is powered by a 380 hp CUMMINS ISLe 8.9 L high pressure common rail diesel engine, suitable for various heavy commercial hauling requirements. The PRIMA has a maximum speed of over a 100 kmph and a fuel tank capacity of 625 litres. The PRIMA is best suited for applications like - General Cargo: Container/Refer Van/Car Carriers, Industrial: Cement/Steel/Machinery Movement, Construction: Tip Trailers/Bulkers etc. On the other hand, the Tata PRIMA K (6X4) Construction tipper is equipped by a 380 hp CUMMINS ISLe 8.9 litre high pressure common rail diesel engine which is able to put out 380HP of maximum power with its 9-speed Eaton Transmission. This vehicle is fitted with an 18 Cu.M box body and a heavy duty Bogie Suspension for rear wheels. It is suitable for all type of construction applications like Aggregates Movement, Tankers and other municipal applications like Garbage Compactors, Skip Loaders etc. Tata Motors also showcased body configurations on the Tata ACE and Tata SUPER ACE light commercial vehicles, already available in the market. Among these the Tata Ace, with a 702 cc Diesel engine with a sales of over a Million units globally was displayed in both Eutectic Reefer and Hopper Tipper rear body configurations. The Tata ACE Hopper Tipper is a unique application that can be used to transport & dump debris, household waste, hazardous & other construction material. With a 1.8 cubic meter capacity & tipping arrangement, the application reduces the manual handling of waste. The tipping height also ensures that material can be transferred into another pickup. This body configuration of the ACE may be put to a multitude of uses many of these are specific to an application for municipal organizations, construction companies, electrical & mechanical contractors, advertising contractors, small townships, medium & large industries. The Tata ACE Eutectic Reefer on the other hand is a plug in rechargeable refrigeration body capable of transporting perishable fresh and frozen food or beverages for a given amount of time before draining its charge. This vehicle uses a mounted compressor and Eutectic plates which does not need to have the engine running to keep the compartment operating at a cool or freezing temperature in the rear. It can be well suited for distribution of Ice cream, marine products, meat & dairy products, juices, packaged foods, medicines, etc.

3 The Tata SUPER ACE Reefer Van is a larger version of the ACE Reefer and has an engine powered refrigeration unit and its temperature has a range of -23 C to + 15 C. It carries 550 Kg Payload and Internal Volume of 5.0 Cu.M. The Tata SUPER ACE Refrigeration van is custom made for transportation of perishable frozen foods such as ice cream, fisheries, dairy products, meat & pharmaceuticals. The minimum temperature of C makes it a one stop solution for all your refrigeration needs. It can also be used for distribution of Ice cream, Marine products, meat & dairy products, juices, packaged foods, medicines, etc. Alongside the Tata PRIMA and ACE brand of commercial vehicles was the Tata XENON pick-up. A perfect blend of performance and style, the Tata XENON in the 4X4 configuration is as assuring on city roads as it is out on uneven surfaces, with its powerful 2.2 L DiCOR Turbocharged Diesel engine. With a highly fuel efficient new generation 2.2 litre DiCOR diesel engine, churning out 148 PS with 320 Nm peak torque and a 2.1 litre MPFI gasoline engine generating 135 PS of raw power, the Tata XENON is exceptionally versatile for both work and adventure. The XEXON on display is equipped with aftermarket accessories Wheels and Tires, and a dynamic body kit with sports bar, side skirts as well as front and rear bumper kits further accentuating the vehicle s sporty and aggressive stance. TATA MOTORS PASSENGER CARS on DISPLAY New on display on the passenger vehicle front was the TATA INDIGO DIESEL SEDAN, in Taxi livery. Showing the high possibility of taxi cab usage in the market due to its Turbo charged diesel engine, the INDIGO is perfect as a fleet or a taxi vehicle, due to its high fuel efficiency, reliable and durability compared to petrol fed engines. Also present at the Tata Motors display area are the two Eco-Diesel powered passenger cars the spacious and comfortable Tata MANZA AURA and the youthful and sporty Tata VISTA IGNIS in full wrap around body kits. Both vehicles are powered by Tata Motor s acclaimed QUADRAJET Common Rail Direct Injection Turbocharged & Intercooled Diesel engine, which gives stellar fuel economy with power and torque. The VISTA is a stylish Hatchback thoughtfully designed for families who prefer spacious vehicles. The Vista is reliable and fun-to-drive, a perfect combination of modern design, well-bolstered comfortable seats and suspensions specifically designed for rough road surfaces. With the Vista, you get a choice of factory-fitted features. The special emphasis on rear seat comfort means that the best seats on-board are reserved for your loved ones. The MANZA is a modern sedan, which makes a bold styling statement. Much research has gone into the perfectly contoured rear seat that gives unmatched comfort.
