10 Customized Ward Carts Linen ward carts Series EW 40 and EW 41 can be customized to meet your individual needs. In addition to doors, fixed or height adjustable shelves, X-ray file compartments, file drawers, pull-out writing surface and drawers in 10 different heights are available. Please contact your distributor for more information. Optionally, doors and drawers can be equipped with locks. Furthermore, drawers can be equipped with central lock. Linen ward carts are available in colors shown on page 34. NEW! 12 Linkable Ward Carts Ward carts and linen hampers are now linkable and available as detachable models. This enables safe and easy transport and the ability to store each unit in a different room. E.G. cabinets in fresh linen room, hamper in bathroom. Closed carts, without grip rings may be retrofitted with the linking mechanism. Ward carts and linen hampers are linked by pushing the foot pedal, linking the units and finally release the pedal. No need to lift cart or hamper. The linking mechanism is of a durable design. The coupling hooks are protected by STAINLESS STEEL brackets to prevent damage to the mechanism. The entire mechanism can be operated by using one of the foot pedals located at either sides of the cart. Closed carts and linen hampers can also be used separately. Hammerlit linen hampers can also be retrofitted with a docking bracket (see page 14). 14 Grip Ring HR 2000 The Hammerlit grip ring HR 2000 makes it possible to securely mount a wide variety of bag types, from the Wickelsack to polyester material bags. All Hammerlit collectors starting from the year 1970 can be retrofitted with the HR Fold lip of the grip ring down. Position the bag over the ring. 3 4 Fold the lip of the grip ring upwards thereby securing the bag. 5 6 Folded in the grip ring, the bag is now securely in place. To remove the bag, simply pull down at the edge of the bag. This will bring the lip of the grip ring downwards to release the bag. 23
