RIVERVIEW SOUTH ATRIUM MAIN ENTRANCE VIDEO SCREEN PREMIER BANQUET SPACE Opening in July of 2013, the Cobo Center Grand Ballroom will become the region s newest banquet and event space. Equipped with a hydraulic lift stage for dramatic introductions, the 40,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom seats 3,500 theater style and 2,400 banquet or classroom style. It is dividable with a retractable wall and complemented by glass-enclosed, pre-function space and an open-air terrace, creating spectacular views of the Detroit River and the skyline of Windsor, Ontario. Add to that a new, state-of-the-art, 8,000 square-foot kitchen with private tasting room for the hottest event location in town.
