Retrofit kit - ome strut MW 1 Series (87) MW 3 Series (46, 90) MW Z4 (85) Retrofit kit No.: 46: , ome strut 85: , ome strut 87 and 90: ome strut Installation time The installation time of approx. 0.5 hours can vary depending on the condition and equipment of the vehicle. Important information These installation instructions are mainly intended for use in the MW dealership network as well as by authorised MW Service enters. The target group of these installation instructions are technical personnel trained on MW vehicles with corresponding technical know-how. ll work is to be carried out with the aid of currently valid MW repair instructions, schematic diagrams, maintenance manuals and working instructions in rational order with the specified tools (special tools) while paying particular attention to valid safety regulations. Should you encounter any problems during the installation procedure or operation, after briefly performing troubleshooting (about half an hour) contact one of the following in order to avoid unnecessary work and costs: 1. ither your national subsidiary or your regional office or 2. the Support through the ftersales ssistance Portal (SP) using the optional "Technical Support" application. 4 2. Installing dome strut MW 3 Series (46) 1 Remove the nuts from the left and right spring strut tower. The nuts must not be reused." X 2 Fit dome strut plate on the spring strut towers. Hand-tighten nuts X 3 Fit cross strut on the dome strut plates with the bend facing towards the rear. Hand-tighten nuts X 4 lign/centre the dome strut. Use an open-ended spanner to tighten nuts. Use torque wrench to tighten nuts. Tighten nuts to the specified torque." 35 Nm X MW G, München (X/S) 4

Hand-tighten nuts X 9 Fit cross strut on the dome strut plates with the bend in forward direction. Hand-tighten nuts X 10 lign/centre the dome strut. Use an open-ended spanner to tighten nuts. 11 6. Installing dome strut MW 1 Series (87) and MW 3 Series (90) 16 lign/centre cross strut. Hand-tighten nuts X 17 M8: 35Nm Use a torque wrench to tighten nuts and as well as screws.
