3 Commitment to quality Hergóm carries out and guarantees the entire production process of its cooking appliances, including design, castings and finish product. Hergóm uses the finest raw materials and high quality components to guarnantee an optimum performance and reliability. All Hergóm cookers are EC certified and meet the UNE-EN Norm that ensures their heat and effieciency. Glass cook tops Featuring an easy to clean ceramic glass. Glass cook tops also can also include a cast iron top underneath, which works as an extra protection and can be used as a cooking surface as well. In some models, the glass top is liftable for an convenient access to the cast iron top. Quality in cast iron We use cast iron as a main component for our products for the following reasons: Durability: because of its excellent resistance to heat and rust, and wield-free assembly that avoids common breaking parts. Design: cast iron allows and endless variety of aesthetic shapes. Heat life: a cast iron cooker stays warm for a long time after the fire has died out. Excellent price-quality ratio. Combustion air control s feature a primary air and draft control system, that regulates the air intake for combustion and the draft according to the user s needs, in order to control the wood consumption. Enamel finish The porcelain enamel finishes in different colours gives cast iron surfaces a high adherence protection, keeping them safe from external agents and guaranteeing an exceptional protection. The shine of the enamel stays intact in time, and the smooth, antiadherence surface allows for an easy cleaning. High capacity ovens The large ovens can accomodate big sized cookware. Built in enamel or stainless steel, with a structure that prevents warpingsand gives the oven a higher resistance.
