Yonge Street has always been a cultural heart of Toronto, and anyone born between the 1950s and the 1980s in the Greater Toronto Area most likely spent far too much of their teenage years browsing records and tapes at Sam the Record Man on Yonge north of Dundas. Raffi has beautifully recreated the feeling of Yonge Street from the 1980s in this impressionist masterpiece. Nostalgia is not just for our parents and grandparents.
