To ensure correct function and safety, please read and follow all instructions carefully before assembly, installation and use of this product. Please keep instructions for future reference. Warranty This fitting is covered by a 12 month warranty. The warranty is from date of purchase, not the date of installation. If the fitting is not assembled and installed by a licensed electrician the warranty will be void. Please retain proof of purchase and evidence of assembly and installation by a licensed electrician. Warranty will be void if there is any damage due to improper usage or modification to the fitting. Failure to comply with the instructions in this manual may increase the risk of damage or injury and will void warranty. Installation requirements This fitting must be assembled and installed by a licensed electrician. All wiring and installation of the light fitting must adhere to local and national wiring rules. eg. AS/NZS 3000:2007/Amendment 2:2012 Electrical installations. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating. Select a suitable location for installation: - This fitting is suitable for indoor use only. - The mounting point must support 2 times the weight of the fitting. - Ensure the fitting is not installed in direct line of an air vent/system. - When installing a fitting in an area prone to moisture, ensure that the area is well ventilated and an appropriately rated exhaust fan is used if required. Damage or corrosion caused by moisture is not a product fault, and as such is not covered under warranty. Take care not to pull any electrical wires during unpacking as this may damage the connection. Lay out all the components on a smooth surface and make sure there are no components missing before assembling. If parts are missing, return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection or replacement. Check whether the fitting has been damaged during transport. Do not operate/install any product which appears damaged in any way. Return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection, repair or replacement. Ensure power to the circuit you are working on has been switched OFF before commencing any electrical work. Installation directions Select the appearance of your pendant before assembly and installation: The glass shades can be facing up or down. Refer to the corresponding instructions and diagram. Assembly must be done by the licensed electrician. Adjustment MUST NOT be done after installation of the product. If you decide to change the direction of the glass shades after the light fitting has been installed, this must be done by a licensed electrician. 2 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR GLASS SHADES FACING UP (refer to GLASS SHADES FACING UP INSTALLATION DIAGRAM on page 3) 1. Remove all packaging material from the product and be careful not to throw away accessories that may be hidden within the packaging material. To help with assembly, lay the fitting on its side on a smooth non scratch surface. 2. Select the type of installation you require before assembly and installation: This light fitting can be installed as a Pendant or Close to Ceiling (refer to step 3). PENDANT INSTALLATION 3. Determine the length of the suspension rod required for your installation location. Install the required length of suspension rods (F, G, H, I) onto the body (J) of the fitting. Use the rod connector (M) to join the suspension rods (F, G, H, I) together. Ensure the rod connector (M) is threaded into the rod ends at equal lengths. Pull the cord out as you assemble, to remove any slack. Take care not to cross thread or twist and damage the cord. Continue to step 4. CLOSE TO CEILING INSTALLATION 3. Install the 150mm suspension rod (H or I) onto the body (J) of the fitting. Continue to step 4. INSTALLATION DIRECTIONS CONTINUED 4. Pull the cord up into the canopy (E) and attach the canopy (E) to the top of the suspension rod. 5. Install the cord anchorage (L) onto the cord inside the canopy. Ensure to leave enough room for connection to the terminal block (K). 6. Remove the mounting bracket (B) from the canopy (E) by loosening the screws (D) on the side. 7. Use the mounting bracket (B) as a template to mark the screw positions on the ceiling. 8. Install the mounting bracket (B) onto the ceiling by using appropriately sized mounting screws (C) and anchors (A). Ensure the screws (C) and anchors (A) used are suitable for the mounting surface and the surrounding environment. 9. Remove the cover from the terminal block (K) and connect the mains supply and fitting wire to the terminal block (K). Mains Supply Wire Fitting Wire Earth Yellow/Green Yellow/Green or Neutral Blue or Black Blue Live Brown or Red Brown 10. Ensure the wires are secure and no bare wires are exposed. Install the cover back onto the terminal block (K). 11. Install the canopy (E) onto the mounting bracket (B) by tightening the screws (D) on the side. 12. Install globes (O - not included candle globes recommended) into the lamp holders. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating. 13. Install the glass shades (N) onto the lamp holder. 14. After the installation, switch on the fitting to test and enjoy your new lighting product. 2 P a g e v 1. 2

4 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR GLASS SHADES FACING DOWN (Refer to GLASS SHADES FACING DOWN INSTALLATION DIAGRAM on page 5) 1. Remove all packaging material from the product and be careful not to throw away accessories that may be hidden within the packaging material. To help with assembly, lay the fitting on its side on a smooth non scratch surface. 2. Loosen the decorative nut (M) and remove the cover plate (K) from the body (J). 3. Loosen the nut (N) on each arm (O) and carefully rotate the arm so it is facing down. Do not rotate the arm more than 360. While rotating each arm, take note the internal wire is not twisted and damaged. 4. Tighten the nut (N) on each arm (O) and check to ensure the internal wire has not been damaged. 5. Install the cover plate (K) back onto the body (J) of the fitting and secure by attaching the decorative nut (M) onto the threaded rod (L). 6. Select the type of installation you require before assembly and installation: This light fitting can be installed as a Pendant or Close to Ceiling (refer to step 7). PENDANT INSTALLATION 7. Determine the length of the suspension rod required for your installation location. Install the required length of suspension rods (F, G, H, I) onto the body (J) of the fitting. Use the rod connector (R) to join the suspension rods (F, G, H, I) together. Ensure the rod connector (R) is threaded into the rod ends at equal lengths. Pull the cord out as you assemble, to remove any slack. Take care not to cross thread or twist and damage the cord. Continue to step 8. CLOSE TO CEILING INSTALLATION 7. Install the 150mm suspension rod (H or I) onto the body (J) of the fitting. Continue to step 8. INSTALLATION DIRECTIONS CONTINUED 8. Pull the cord up into the canopy (E) and attach the canopy (E) to the top of the suspension rod. 9. Install the cord anchorage (Q) onto the cord inside the canopy (E). Ensure to leave enough room for connection to the terminal block (P). 10. Remove the mounting bracket (B) from the canopy (E) by loosening the screws (D) on the side. 11. Use the mounting bracket (B) as a template to mark the screw positions on the ceiling. 12. Install the mounting bracket (B) onto the ceiling by using appropriately sized mounting screws (C) and anchors (A). Ensure the screws (C) and anchors (A) used are suitable for the mounting surface and the surrounding environment. 13. Remove the cover from the terminal block (P) and connect the mains supply and fitting wire to the terminal block (P). 6 Safety tips Always ensure the power is OFF and the fitting has cooled down before performing any maintenance, cleaning, changing the globe or making any adjustment to the fitting. To avoid injury or damage to the fitting, ensure that power leads and screws are secure before connecting the power. Select a suitable location away from liquids and hazards. Ensure that the fitting does not come in contact with corrosive chemicals, etc. To clean, wipe with a damp clean cloth. Never soak the fitting with water.
