1 Gen 1 Installation Guide LUNERA T8 LED RETROFIT KITS 2/3/4-Lamp Replacement Kits for 2FT or 4FT T8 Fluorescent Lamps Type C - External Driver Installation Description The LUNERA T8 LED RETROFIT KITS consist of two, three or four 2FT or 4FT T8 LED lamps and a 0-10V dimmable external LED driver, which operates off of 120V-277V AC. It is a Type C (External LED Driver) retrofit kit replacement of 2, 3 or 4 bi-pin T8 fluorescent lamps and ballast. The kitted lamps do NOT support line voltage or fluorescent ballasts. Turn power OFF to the fixture. 2. Remove existing T8 electronic ballast from the fixture - do not disconnect existing wires from the tombstones. 3. Install the Lunera LED driver in place of fluorescent ballast. 4. Connect the LED driver s output wires to the G13 bi-pin T8 tombstones as instructed in Figures 1 or 2. Make sure the tombstones are NOT broken, cracked, dirty or rusted. 5. Install the kitted Lunera T8 LED lamps. 6. Install the fixture modification sticker that shipped with the kit inside the fixture. 7. Turn power ON. 4Ft x 4, 12W 4Ft x 3, 12W 4Ft x 2, 12W/15W 2Ft x 2, 8W 4-Lamp + Driver

Risk of fire or electric shock. LED retrofit kit installation requires knowledge of luminaires electrical systems. If not, do not attempt installation. Contact a qualified electrician. WARNING - To prevent damage to wiring, do not expose wires to the edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects. Installer should not disconnect existing wires from lamp holder terminals to make new connections at lamp holder terminals. Instead, installers should cut existing lamp holder leads way from the lamp holder and make new electrical connections to lamp holder s lead wires by employing applicable connectors. All electrical connections shall be provided within an enclosure. Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit installation. CAUTION - DO NOT INSTALL THIS LAMP DIRECTLY INTO LINE VOLTAGE [THIS LAMP OPERATES OFF OF LUNERA S EXTERNAL LED DRIVER ONLY] NOTES: Lamp installation in the following conditions and applications voids the product warranty: - Lamp installation into cracked, broken, dirty, or rusted tombstones - Lamp installation into ballast or line voltage voids the warranty. - Improper wiring of Lunera LED Driver to tombstones voids the warranty. * This device complies with Part 15 of FCC Rules.
