The standard for TU11 rack and pinion systems is 1 nominal bore tube. 1¼ tube is used for connecting the heavier duty rack and pinions together. 14 90 worm wheel gearboxes W600 worm wheel gearbox 90 W240 gearbox A lighter duty version of the W400 and replacing the W50 which is now obsolete. A 90 manually driven gearbox where the input shaft drives a worm and wheel giving 35:1 reduction and mechanical self-braking. Maximum input torque 19.6Nm. Maximum output torque 240Nm. Requires two 16 tooth ½ x 5/16 chain coupling sets for the output shafts and one (or two for the D model) of the same size for the input shafts, or a manual chain wheel, for the input shaft(s). The D model has a double ended input shaft so that gearboxes can be daisy-chained. R W240 gearbox R W240D gearbox A 90 gearbox where the input shaft drives a worm and wheel giving 35:1 reduction and mechanical self-braking. Maximum input torque 49Nm. Maximum output torque 600Nm. The D model has a double input shaft so that gearboxes can be daisy-chained. For example: operating vents in Hancock type houses.
