2 About Us Genesis Shocks is located in Roswell, Georgia 30 miles north of Atlanta. Founded by Mike Farr and Mike Lutz in March of 2006, Genesis is a new company but the founders are anything but new to the shock absorber and racing industries, with over 50 years experience between them. Non Adjustable Shock Absorbers The G1 is a mono-tube, non adjustable gas shock absorber.

It has a fully anodized aluminum body with a large built-on gas reservoir.

G1 -- Features * Positive stainless steel no-drag scraper to keep any dirt and debris out. * Hollow chrome-moly shaft.

* Proprietary Dynamic Gas Pressure Control, keeps pressure low while supporting compression valve values.

3 Non Adjustable Shock Absorbers The G1 is a mono-tube, non adjustable gas shock absorber. It s available in and 9 stroke and any possible valving or split valving. It has a fully anodized aluminum body with a large built-on gas reservoir. This increases the volume of gas the shock will hold, which lowers the unwanted increase in rod pressure that comes with stroke. Some cars run a shock in front of the left rear to control the motion on acceleration and braking like a G194-0 or G194-1 for Sweeping corner tracks and G196-0 or a G196-2 for tighter corner tracks. Adjust your gas pressure accordingly anywhere from 50 psi to 200 psi. Always check the travel on all shocks for rebound extension and compression travel as some cars need a 1 or 2 shock extensions in some applications. Note on some cars the right front upper control arm will hit the shock or bulb. If more control arm clearance is needed, order your right front shock with a 5350 small diameter bulb. (G1S7#-# Shock).
