2 There are 4 possible ways to fit your S-Box. The simplest (OPTIONS A and B) is to insert it into its cut-out hole (as shown on front page) allowing the collar to sit on the surface. Both the collar and the stainless steel top are resilient and stylish, and this is the standard product. The stainless steel top can be replaced if you wish with a piece of alternative material up to a maximum of 12mm thickness. In this case please use the top as the cutting template. The instructions later in this guide suggest how to fix this new material, but all you need to do after that is to move the collar up a little - to re-level it with the new material - and re-weight the internal counterbalance for the weight of the new top. Instructions on how to do this are also shown in this booklet. A and B - See above. These methods of completely secreting the S-Box within the surface material will require professional assistance and specialist cutting equipment. Please speak to your designer, contractor, or worktop specialist. Detailed instructions are contained in this booklet, but can be sent to them direct if you wish.

STANDARD INSTALLATION Flush Mounted As method 1 - with addition of shallow rebate (approx. 3mm). Standard Collar In either of these methods, you can replace the standard stainless steel top with a piece of matching material to work top if required. Maximum depth of any material is 12mm. The Collar can be adjusted upwards to relevel it with that new material. Then please follow counterbalance reweight instructions shown later in this guide. CUT OUT DIMENSIONS: 2-PORT POWER BOX = 96 x 210mm 3-PORT POWER BOX = 115 x 295mm KNIFE/SPICE/KEY/CHEF = 115 x 425mm C. REBATED INSTALLATION For Custom Top (12mm max) in 30mm or greater material. Standard Collar. D. UNDERMOUNT INSTALLATION For Custom Top (12mm max) in 20mm Material ONLY <<<< *NOTE* >>>> IN BOTH OF THESE CUSTOM TOP PROCESSES THE EXISTING STAINLESS STEEL TOP MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE BEING REPLACED WITH ITS ALTERNATIVE. NB. Requires S-Box undermount bracket kit - to replace Standard collar CUT OUT DIMENSIONS: AS ABOVE BUT WITH ADDITIONAL 8mm REBATE x 18mm DEEP. NEW TOP SHOULD BE CUT TO MATCH THE REBATED DIMENSION - WITH APPROX 1.5mm GAP ALL THE WAY ROUND CUT OUT DIMS: 2-PORT POWER BOX = 88 x 203mm 3-PORT POWER BOX = 103 x 283mm KNIFE/SPICE/KEY/CHEF = 103 x 413mm

4 AFTER 6-12 MONTHS USE (PARTICULARLY IN VERY WARM or CENTRALLY HEATED ENVIRONMENT) THE INTERNAL RUNNERS MAY REQUIRE A TINY AMOUNT OF RE-LUBRICATION TO MAINTAIN THE UNIT S SMOOTH OPERATION.
