2 ABOUT RAPIDWIRING As part of our overall service package Rapidline offer a cable management solution. Modular wiring (softwiring) enables us to specify a cost effective wiring solution. Importantly, soft wiring is also easy to re-use and expand when re-configuring workstations or moving them to a new location, giving the user maximum flexibility. Rapidline offers a partial installation service for soft wiring products which includes fitting of cable baskets, in desk power and accessories. A licensed electrical contractor is required to install all wall starters, ceiling starters and interconnecting leads (to be organised by the end user). During the design process we specify how wiring gets from the power source in the walls or ceiling to the workstation. Then, whether we manage cables from under the desk or from the desk top. Finally, we cater for the power and data needs of each individual user. 2
