Every sheet that gets sent out to your job will be in first-class drivable condition. If you receive a sheet that is not in that condition, please contact your L.B. Foster salesman immediately. Part of this experience is when material is returned to an approved L.B. Foster reclamation facility. L.B. Foster will carefully review each and every piece of sheet pile returned and if the material returned is, in the opinion of L.B. Foster, not in first-class re-drivable condition, we will work up the reconditioning / liquidation charges per the terms on your contract. On the next few pages, we will give some reminders of key issues to avoid so that your reclamation process is as smooth as it can be. Please refer to your contract for complete terms and conditions for your rental and all applicable charges.

The welding together of pairs is not permitted and they will be liquidated at the contract rate. Pairs consisting of different sections will be liquidated at the contract rate. Piling returned, in pairs consisting of sheets of unequal length, is not acceptable. All pairs must be even at both ends. Sheets returned in uneven pairs will be charged for the cost of the cuts and material loss at the contract rate.

Acceptable notching that exceeds 4 or any notching on the ball and socket interlock or thumb area of the socket will be considered as end damage when returned and will be trimmed square by L.B. Foster, and treated as end batter.

When L.B. Foster trims battered ends, new handling holes will be cut when necessary.

14 14 RETURNED PILING All piling shall be returned by the customer free of any hazardous or toxic materials or other contaminants. Customers shall be responsible for any and all liabilities, damages, and expenses, including attorney fees which L.B. Foster incurs due to the customer s failure to return the piling free of any such contaminants.

NEXT STEP TO YOUR RENTAL The L.B. Foster yard will estimate your rental piling reclamation and you will receive, via certified mail, your invoice for the proposed reclaim.

Noted on your invoice will be the time window for you to review the proposed reclamation. If you wish to discuss the proposed reclaim, please call your L.B.
