1 Page Mounting of climate sensors The indoor temperature and humidity sensors should be placed: 1 m above the zone occupied by the animals, near the middle of the house. in draught-free zone, not in the heat jet and not where the heat comes last. where the sun does not shine directly on the sensor through a window. Remember to take into account that the altitude of the sun varies with the seasons/day. a plug on the humidity sensor is preferred, so it can be removed during cleaning. NB: Never use a plug on the temperature sensor, as a bad connection here might have disastrous results. The outdoor temperature sensor should be placed: on the shady side of the house to avoid the sun. as detached as possible, however protected from rain and snow. NB: As a protection against rodents and to ensure optimum durability, an armoured installation cable, minimum 1 mm 2, should always be used.

7 Page Electrical Installation The electrical installation deals with the setting of mains voltage, basic wiring diagrams, setting of the computer and wiring diagrams of each individual component. One of the 3 standard wiring diagrams is used, depending on whether it is without emergency opening, with MC 78M A ON/OFF emergency opening or MC 78T A temperature controlled emergency opening. The installation is made in following order: 1) Setting of mains voltage (2.3.1) 2) Connect cables as shown on one of the standard wiring diagrams ( , and ) 3) Connection of mains voltage (2.3.2) 4) Setting of the computer (2.3.3) 5) Connection of each individual component by means of the wiring diagrams in section (2.3.5) 6) Setting of the system (2.4) 7) Testing (2.5) Setting of Mains Voltage The mains voltage can be set at 220/230V or 240V. From the factory the setting is 220/230V. 240V is activated by moving a lead at the relay panel. The lead is right under the transformer. 11 Page Connection of Mains Voltage Mains voltage is connected in order to set the computer, see section (2.3.3) Setting of the computer The chief part of the terminals are universal. Therefore different components can be connected to each individual terminal. When you have answered the questions of the computer in the intallation menu, it will show you where to connect the components. See section Menu survey installation. If you try to activate more than is possible, you will be notified at once., press. With and change to the right language., so to the left in the display is opposite Installation.. The display reads Humidity Sensor.. The display reads Yes With, choose between Yes and No.. The display reads Heat source.. The display reads 2 heat sources. With, choose between none, 1 heat source or 2 heat sources.. The display reads Heat source 1 [analog]. With, choose between analog and relay., The display reads Heat source 2 [relay]. With, choose between analog and relay.. The display reads Control: [synchronous heat]. With, choose between synchronous heat and separated heat. NB! Synchronous heat means that the two heat sources work parallel. Separated heat means first 100% from heat source 1 and then heat source 2.. The display reads Cooling/humidification/Soaking?.. The display reads Cooling? [Yes - internal]. With, choose between yes - internal, yes - external and no.
