The equipment may nly be perated, serviced and repaired by persnnel trained in the peratin f its use. Particular attentin shuld be paid t the infrmatin regarding safety. Technical expertise is the key t preventing errrs when perating the machine and ensuring truble-free peratin. The perating manual must always be kept at the perating lcatin f the machine and, as a result, shuld be kept in a safe place n the equipment. The warning labels attached t the machine prvided imprtant infrmatin cncerning safe peratin. Illegible r missing labels must be replaced by new nes. Fr reasns f safety, always use riginal spare parts. 1.3 Operating infrmatin Befre starting the machine up fr the first time, the battery t be used must be fully charged, prperly, by implementing the initial battery charge rutine. Please pay attentin t the perating manual prvided with the charging unit as well as the manual frm the battery manufacturer. Trnad assumes n liability fr damage t the battery caused by a fault when the battery is charged fr the first time. Check the peratinal safety f the machine each time befre starting it up! Clear any faults immediately! Befre starting wrk, the peratr must be fully familiar with all adjustment, perating and cntrl elements as well as their 4

respective functin! It is t late t d this when the machine is actually in peratin! Always wear heavy duty, nn-slip ftwear when wrking with the machine. The machine may nly be used n thse surfaces which have been apprved by the cntractr r persn appinted by him. When using the machine, it is essential t pay attentin t third parties, especially children. Accelerate the machine immediately after switching n the brush head drive, therwise imprints f the brush culd be prduced. The machine is nt suitable fr clearing up hazardus, inflammable r explsive fluids, dust r substances. It is frbidden t use the machine in ptentially explsive atmspheres. The side brush must be raised in rder t transprt the machine. The machine has been cnceived fr use n level surfaces with a maximum gradient f 2%. 1.4 Maintenance infrmatin Operating persnnel must cmplete the necessary daily and weekly maintenance wrk. All ther maintenance wrk must be cmpleted at yur lcal Trnad authrized service center. The maintenance wrk and maintenance intervals prescribed in the perating manual must be adhered t. Suitable tls must be used fr cleaning and maintenance wrk. Switch the machine ff, unscrew the lcking blt (Fig. 9/8) and pen the hd (Fig. 9/7). 2. Slacken the timing belt (Fig. 9/6) using the tensin pulley and remve the belt. 3. Slacken the tensin pulley and install the new timing belt. The timing belt is autmatically tensined by means f a tensin spring. 4. Clse the hd (Fig. 9/7) and screw the lcking blts (Fig. 9/8) back in. 5.5 Debris cntainer 1 Debris cntainer 2 Lcking mechanism 3 Seal 4 Handle Fig. 10 5.5.1 Emptying the debris cntainer Check the fill level f the debris cntainer (Fig. 10/1) at regular intervals (max. lad capacity 25 kg) and empty as necessary. 1. Switch the machine ff and pull the lcking mechanism (Fig. 10/2) n the debris cntainer (Fig. 10/1) upwards. 5.5.2 Changing the seal Check the seal (Fig. 10/3) weekly fr signs f wear and change it as necessary. 1. Switch ff the machine and pull the lcking mechanism (Fig. 10/2) n the debris cntainer (Fig. 10/1) upwards. 2. Pull the debris cntainer (Fig. 10/3) t the rear and ut f the machine using the handle (Fig. 10/4). 5.6 Dust vacuum 1 Filter 2 Sealing strip 3 Filter supprt frame 4 Shaking device 5 Wing blts 6 Hlders 2. Pull the debris cntainer t the rear ut f the machine using the handle (Fig. 10/4) and dispse f the waste accrding t the applicable envirnmental laws. 3. Reinstall the debris cntainer and press it against the lcking mechanism until it audibly latches int place. 3. Pull the seal fr the debris cntainer frm the filter supprt frame. Install a new seal. 4. Reinstall the debris cntainer and press it against the lcking mechanism until it audibly latches int place Fig. 11 16

5.6.1 Cleaning the filter Clean the filter (Fig. 11/1) in the dust vacuum as necessary using the shaking device (Fig. 11/4). In the case f extreme accumulatin f dirt, clean the filter as fllws: 1. Switch the machine ff and remve the debris cntainer. 2. Lsen the wing blts (Fig. 11/5). Pivt the filter supprt frame (Fig. 11/ 3) dwn and remve it. 3. Remve the filter frm the filter supprt frame. 5.6.2 Changing the filter Check the filter (Fig. 11/1) every 250 perating hurs fr signs f wear and change it as necessary. 1. Switch the machine ff and remve the debris cntainer. 2. Unscrew the wing blts (Fig. 11/5). Pivt the filter supprt frame (Fig. 11/3) dwn and remve it. 5.6.3 Install the Lint filter If the machine is mainly used n carpet, yu have t install the lint filter (7). 1. Switch the machine ff and remve the debris cntainer. 2. Unscrew the wing blts (Fig.11/5). Pivt the filter supprt frame (3) dwn and remve it. 3. Munt the lint filter (7) between filter and the filter supprt frame 4. Hk the filter supprt frame in the hlder (Fig.11/6), if necessary, and fix in place with the wing blts. Beat the filter clean r use a vacuum cleaner. Be careful nt t damage the filter ribs! 4. Insert the crrect side f filter in the filter supprt frame. The sealing strip (Fig. 11/2) must pint twards the suctin turbine! 5. Hk the filter supprt frame in the hlder (Fig. 11/6) and fix in place with the wing blts. 6. Reinstall the debris cntainer 3. Remve the filter frm the filter supprt frame. 4. Insert the crrect side f the new filter in the filter supprt frame. The sealing strip (Fig. 11/2) must pint twards the suctin turbine! 5. Hk the filter supprt frame in the hlder (Fig. 11/6), if necessary, and fix in place with the wing blts. 6. Reinstall the debris cntainer 5. Reinstall the debris cntainer.
