Allow the service routine to run until all aftertreatment temperature sensors stabilize. 5. Is the DOC inlet temperature within 25 C (45 F) of the DPF outlet temperature? a. Yes; Go to step 6. b. No; replace the DOC inlet temperature sensor. Refer to section "Removal of the EPA10 Diesel Oxidation Catalyst Inlet Temperature Sensor" Refer to section "Removal of the GHG14 Diesel Oxidation Catalyst Inlet Temperature Sensor" Verify repair. 6. Is the DOC outlet temperature within 25 C (45 F) of the DPF outlet temperature? a. Yes; clear faults and release vehicle. b. No; replace the DOC outlet temperature sensor. 11 54-16 1. Visually inspect the entire exhaust system for signs of leaks or damage. Is there any damage found? a. Yes; repair as necessary. Verify repair. b. No; Go to step 2. 2. Connect DiagnosticLink. 3. Turn the ignition ON (key ON, engine OFF). 4. Using the Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) voltage service routine, monitor the DOC inlet pressure (pin 87) with the key ON, engine OFF. 5. Is the DOC inlet pressure sensor voltage between 0.44 and 0.56 volts? a. Yes; Go to step 9. b. No; Go to step 6. 6. Disconnect the DOC inlet pressure sensor connector. 7. Inspect the DOC inlet pressure sensor connector for damaged pins, spread pins or corrosion. Is there any damage found? a. Yes; repair as necessary. Verify repairs. b. No; Go to step 8. 8. Measure the voltage from pin 3 of the DOC inlet pressure sensor connector to ground. Is the voltage between 4.5 and 5.5 volts? a. Yes; replace the sensor. Verify repair. Refer to section "Removal of the GHG14 Diesel Oxidation Catalyst Inlet Pressure Sensor". b. No; repair the wire between pin 3 of the DOC inlet pressure sensor connector and pin 117 of the ACM. Verify repair. 9. Using the Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) voltage service routine, monitor the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) outlet pressure (pin 72) voltages with the key ON, engine OFF. 10. Is the DPF outlet pressure sensor voltage between 0.44 and 0.56 volts? a. Yes; inspect and repair the DOC and DPF pressure sensor tubes and elbows for leaks, kinks, or restrictions. Refer to section "Removal of the GHG14 Diesel Oxidation Catalyst Inlet Pressure Sensor Tube". b. No; Go to step 11. 11. Disconnect the DPF outlet pressure sensor connector. 12. Inspect the DPF outlet pressure sensor connector for damaged pins, spread pins or corrosion. Is there any damage found? 4 SPN 3251/FMI 21 - GHG14 a. Yes; repair as necessary. Verify repairs. b. No; Go to step 13. 13. Measure the voltage between pin 3 of the DPF outlet pressure sensor connector and ground. Is the voltage between 4.5 and 5.5 volts? a. Yes; replace the sensor. Verify repair. Refer to section "Removal of the GHG14 Diesel Particulate Filter Outlet Pressure Sensor". b. No; repair the wire.
