Deceleratio Properties The orifice sizig ad drill patter i the pressure chamber are idividually desiged for each safety shock absorber. The respective absorptio characteristic is optimised correspodig to the maximum mass that occurs i the emergecy stop ad the impact speed. orrespodigly, each safety shock absorber is give a idividual idetificatio umber. Safety shock absorbers that are ot used regularly (i.e. that are iteded for emergecy stop systems) should be checked withi the ormal time frame for safety checks, but at least oce a year. At this time special attetio must be paid to checkig that the pisto rod resets to its fully exteded positio, that there is o oil leakage ad that the moutig brackets are still secure ad udamaged. The pisto rod must ot show ay sigs of damage. Safety shock absorbers that are i use regularly should be checked every three moths.
