Removing the Boc To remove the contact boc, insert a fat screwdriver under the atch of the contact boc adaptor and disengage the atch as shown in the figure beow. Instaing EU9Z-PC Padoc Cover (Fush/extended pushbtton/ey seector switch) EU9Z-PC can be instaed in the foowing two ways. Remove the cover in the reverse step of instaing the cover. [Instaation A] Cover Fat Screwdriver Instaing the boc When instaing the contact boc after maintenance or wiring, mae sure that the contact configuration is correct. Instaing the contact boc in the incorrect position or incompete instaation may cause mafunction of the switch. Remove the contact boc from the operator before instaing the contact boc to the contact boc adaptor. Aso mae sure that the contact boc is correcty instaed to the contact boc adaptor before attaching the operator. Do not insta the contact boc adaptor with the operator attached. Otherwise, mafunction may resut. Protective Grounding Protective grounding must be performed according to the instaation environment and rating requirements. Observe aws and reguations set by each country. Connect the M4 grounding termina of the ECB contro box to a proper ground (grounding resistance 0Ω maximum). When operating the ECB contro box by connecting to circuits of 00V or beow, the grounding resistance must be 00Ω maximum. When using cabes, connect one of the cabe cores to the grounding termina in the encosure. If the grounding termina in the encosure cannot be used, use the M4 grounding termina on the outside of the encosure. Recommended tightening torque: M4:.0 to. Nm M6:.9 to 5.4 Nm For grounding, use appropriate wires (size, materia, insuation) that can toerate the expected maximum grounding current. Be sure to protect the grounding wire with protection, such as meta conduit, from externa damage. Accessories Padoc Cover The foowing padocs and hasps can be used. No vibration shoud be appied when padoc or hasp are instaed. When padoc or hasp are disfigured, stop usage immediatey. Ensure that no shoc or eectric spars are generated. When using the pate oc padoc cover with the extended pushbutton, the switch contact may turn on/off when the cover is being instaed. Ensure to provide functiona safety measure to prevent unexpected startup. When using the padoc cover on the safety-reated part of the contro system, observe safety standards and reguations of the reevant country or region. Aso be sure to perform ris assessment before operation. [Instaation B] This method is effective when the neighboring contro unit interferes when instaing in method A. Cover Instaing EU9Z-DB Rubber Boots To insta the rubber boot on fush and extended pushbuttons, pace the rubber boot on the cap and push the rubber boot hoder straight. The notches around the rubber boot must show eveny. On Namepate Types, the EUB and the rubber boot hoder must be aigned so that when instaed, the anti-rotation proection on the EUB comes to the center of the groove on the hoder. Mae sure that the rubber boot is instaed competey, otherwise water dropets might enter the rubber boot, but no water wi enter the contro box. Aign To remove the rubber boot from the fush and extended pushbuttons, genty insert the sotted screwdriver (0.5t x 4w or beow) inside a notch on the rubber boot hoder and tit to the direction shown by the arrow. To prevent damage, do not appy excessive force to the EUB when removing the rubber boot. 4
