Istallatio Istructios Moutig Procedure to Motor. Wipe off ati-rust aget ad oil o the motor shaft. 4. Carefully ad getly isert the motor shaft ito the iput shaft. Make sure the motor flage is perfectly fit to the reducer s flage. Tighte the motor by istallig ad tighteig bolts to the proper torque. (See table ) Reducer Istallatio After cofirmig the istallatio surface is flat ad clea, tighte the bolt usig a torque wrech to the proper torque. (See table 2) 2. Remove the plug. 5. Tighte the clampig bolt of the iput shaft with torque wrech to the proper torque. (See table ). Tur the iput shaft util the cap screw is see. Make sure the cap screw is looseed. Place reducer vertically o the flat surface so the motor moutig part faces up. NOTE: I case the bushig has bee attached, see reducer drawig example below to fix. 6. Reistall the plug. Safety Precautio Cautios for Operatio Whe the reducer is delivered to you, cofirm that you received the exact model that you ordered. Please wipe out the iput ad output shaft of the reducer which is covered by ati-corrosive oil. * Remove rubber cap o the iput shaft before you wipe the shafts. * Lubricat (grease) is already filled i the reducer. The reducer is ready for operatio out of the box. Fixatio ad Istallatio Avoid use i places where rai or water drops directly, uless special wash dow desig. I case of use outdoors or i a places where dust ad water drops directly, cosult SHIMPO i advace. Istall at 0 ~40 C of surroudig temperature. I case of use at temperature out of the metioed (0 ~40 C) rage, cosult SHIMPO i advace. Firmly fix with a bolt oto a solid stad without vibratio. Istall i a coveiet locatio for future repair ad ispectio. Cautios Prior to Startig the Operatio Reducer ca be used o arrival, sice it has already bee filled with lubricatio. At iitial operatio, check the rotatig directio of the output shaft ad the gradually apply load. Cautios Durig Operatio Avoid overload. Esure that iput speed shall ot exceed the umber of maximum revolutios per miute specified. I the evet the followig occurs, stop the operatio ad check the followig poits: If temperature sharply icreases If a abormal oise appears sharply If the umber of revolutios becomes ustable sharply I the evet the followig occurs, respod immediately to the issue or cotact us as soo as possible. Is it uder overload coditio? Is lubricat isufficiet or deteriorated, or was aother lubricat applied? Is the axis, gear, ad/or motor iput damaged? Are ay coectios ustable? Disassembly ABLE REDUCER is desiged to ot be disassembled. Lubricat Use The ABLE REDUCER is of grease-seal type i all models. A specified amout of grease is filled at factory release so you ca use as soo as it is delivered to you. It is impossible to exchage grease. I case of use outside of the recommeded temperature rage, cosult SHIMPO i advace. Daily Check Poits Is the reducer case temperature excessively high durig operatio? (Up to + 50 C is ot sigificat.) Is there a abormal oise i the bearig, gear, etc? Is there a abormal vibratio i the reducer? * Upo a abormal pheomeo, immediately stop the operatio ad cotact us. Is there a lubricat leak? Periodic Check Poits Are there overload ad abormal rotatio? Are free, sprocket, ad reducer assemblig bolts loose? Is there a abormal coditio i the electric system? Checkup ad repair of major parts * Upo a abormal coditio, immediately stop the operatio ad cotact us. Oil leak * Upo a oil leak, cotact us. Scrappig Wheever scrappig the ABLE REDUCER, classify the parts by material ito idustrial wastes as specified i the laws ad regulatios of your local govermet. Materials of costructio ca be divided ito the followig four categories:. Rubber parts: Oil seal, seat packig, rubber cap, seal used for bearig o the motor flage, etc. 2.
