1 TO: ATTENTION: MEMBERS OF THE FACILITY ASSOCIATION CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER ONTARIO RISK SHARING POOL PROJECT MANAGERS BULLETIN NO.: F DATE: APRIL 7, 2010 SUBJECT: RISK SHARING POOL ONTARIO AUTO REFORM Please be advised that the Ontario Risk Sharing Pool record layout format is being revised to accommodate the choices and flexibility consumers will have in their auto insurance coverage effective September 1 st, The Accident Benefits and Bodily Injury coverage options have introduced eight new subcoverages which must be reported on all policies ceded to the Ontario Risk Sharing Pool with effective dates of September 1 st, 2010 or later. Please refer to the attached for further details. We will be providing members with a two-week test period for the revised record layout format which is scheduled to commence on June 28 th, The scheduled go-live date for the changes is July 12 th, During the test period members will be able to view their submitted test data on the Risk Sharing Pool Submission Reports. Confirmation of these dates and details surrounding testing procedures will be communicated in a future bulletin.
