2 THE ECOLOGICAL INNOVATION PLUS channels consist of 100 % re cycled polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP). They can be integrated into the ecological material cycle and are 100 % recyclable. Green light for the environment! Because of their low weight, RECYFIX PLUS channels are easy to transport and install. At the same time, the system complies with the highest requirements regarding functionality and strength. RECYFIX PLUS channels have been developed for traffic areas exposed to high loads. An additional protection is provided by galvanised steel angle housings covering the top edges. The RECYFIX PLUS channel system is a complete system with all necessary accessories. Contractor MDB chose the 100 PLUS system from Hauraton. The job was completed on time and without any on-site breakages, a major consideration for the contractor who had experienced this problem with other makes of channelling. MDB was so delighted with the performance of the RECYFIX components, they informed Colin Taff, Hauraton s hydraulics engineer, that they would certainly be using the product again on other projects. Tim Connolly, Director of Sales and Marketing at Hauraton Limited coented, Our RECYFIX 100 PLUS channels supplied to MDB were a good choice; for their size, they have a large drainage cross section (290cm 2 ) and only weigh 10.9 per one metre unit including the grating. This was greatly appreciated by the contractor as ease of handling was essential, as it allowed faster installation procedures. Made from recycled Polyethylene-Polypropylene (PE-PP) these tough channels, with reinforced steel edges, were specified to comply with a load category Class C250.
