4 Remarks Unit one was traveling from west Minnetonka BLVD to south Williston Rd, Unit one was turning on a yellow flashing arrow. The driver of Unit one misjudged the distance and speed of Unit two. Unit two was traveling east on Minnetonka Blvd. Unit two had a green light as it approached the intersections. Unit two collided with Unit one causing moderate damage to both Unit one and Unit two. 6 Remarks Lone vehicle was southbound 494 approaching Orchard Rd. Driver/lone occupant was in middle lane and lost control on icy roads from recent light snow fall. driver/vehicle went off road right and collided with large fence/sound barrier causing significant damage to barrier and vehicle. Driver state he is not sure what happened other than he lost control. Driver had a visible bump on head but refused medical attention and advised he would go to clinic later. 8 Remarks The Volvo (MN 057-TPT) was SB in the middle lane of traffic (3 SB lanes). The Mitsubishi was SB in the left lane of traffic and a short distance behind the Volvo. The driver (Ivershen) of the Volvo stated that due to the road conditions (slush / ice) she lost control of her vehicle and it began to spin in a circle. The driver (Jensen) of the Mitsubishi stated that she saw the Volvo being to spin in front of her but she was unable to avoid the collision. WITNESS: JAMES ASHLEY GLOVER(: 08/06/1950) STATED THAT HE WAS STOPPED AT THE STOP LIGHT ON SOUTHBOUND SHADY OAK ROAD AT HIGHWAY 7 NEXT TO VEHICLE 1. GLOVER STATED THAT THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN AND VEHICLES STARTED PROCEEDING THROUGH THE INTERSECTION SOUTHBOUND. GLOVER STATED THAT VEHICLE 2 FAILED TO STOP FOR THE RED LIGHT WHILE TRAVELING EASTBOUND ON HIGHWAY 7 AND COLLIDED WITH VEHICLE 1. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT THE DEBRIS FROM THE TRAFFIC ACCIDENT WAS IN THE RIGHT LANE OF HIGHWAY 7 FOR EASTBOUND TRAFFIC. MINOR INJURIES TO DEGROTE'S KNEE. SHIRE ADVISED ME THAT HIS WRIST WAS SORE.
