It has been designed to support Customers in their Flight Planning activities whilst operating with the AgustaWestland family of products.. The application provides an intuitive, simple and modern Human Machine Interface, which requires no formal training. Skyfight is the optimal off-aircraft tool to carry out pre-fight evaluation of all the aspects of any mission ensuring a thorough safety assessment. Wherever you are, through your internet enabled device, you will be provided with relevant aviation information, in addition to a real-time stream of weather and environmental data, which is used in conjunction with the Finmeccanica Helicopter Division aircraft performance data. The essential tools for the route planning still remain available when Skyfight is off-line. 181 FEATURES SKYFLIGHT MOBILE SERVICE You will quickly see how easy your pre-fight experience can be with Skyfight s built in features including: Accurate Weight and Balance calculations, based on your aircraft tail number and confguration, allow passenger or mission specifc equipment loading and the adjustment of fuel levels, all the time calculating and checking mass and centre of gravity limits are not exceeded. Route design, amendment and assessment in just a few clicks. Planning your mission by clicking, dragging, repositioning the waypoints and legs of the route, whilst being advised on the latest weather conditions, airspace restrictions and warnings, in an easy to understand colour coded graphic. A complete aircraft performance calculation for each leg of the mission, fully compliant with the AgustaWestland product performance fgures, taking into account the weight and balance editor calculations and relevant weather data. Rapid upload of fight data from Skyfight to the aircraft systems via secure WIFI connection or USB stick, allows the planned mission and its respective waypoints to be integrated into the aircraft Flight Management System (on applicable aircraft models). Adaptable maps with a range of independently selectable layers, adapting automatically to your zoom level, showing or hiding the relevant features making maps easy to understand. EMS/Police specifc maps identifying street names, supporting ground to air co-ordination. Post fight and actual fight path data can be downloaded from the aircraft onboard systems and can be overlaid onto the Skyfight maps, allowing a thorough debriefng.
