2 GM Holden Ltd., Port Melbourne, Australia FOR SALE BY PRIVATE NEGOTIATION EQUIPMENT PURCHASE OPPORTUNITY Maynards Industries, in conjunction with Joint Venture Partners Liquidity Services, has been appointed as exclusive sales agent to assist GM Holden Ltd in the sale of assets surplus to ongoing requirements from their Victorian Engine Plant and Elizabeth Vehicle Manufacturing & Assembly facility. In the course of Holden s reorganization, their Victorian Engine Manufacturing facility in Port Melbourne as well as their Adelaide Vehicle Manufacturing & Assembly facility in Elizabeth, will cease production in the next years. This brochure provides a first insight into a unique opportunity to purchase a state of the art engine manufacturing and assembly operation for relocation as a whole, standalone lines or single machines. V6 DOHC ENGINE MANUFACTURING & ASSEMBLY LINE The V6 engine line in Port Melbourne was installed in 2003 and has been continuously maintained and upgraded to a high standard. In its current configuration, the production line has a capacity of approx. 320 units per 8 hour shift (960 units per day). Available are state of the art Cylinder Block line, Crankshaft Line, Cylinder Head Line and Engine Assembly Line. Engine Basic Dimensions and Data: Maynards and Liquidity Services are selling the production equipment for relocation and without any intellectual property rights. The below data of the V6 engine is for reference only and should be a guideline to verify if the basic engine parameters matches a purchasers general requirements.
