3 LED mirror mounting instructions 1. Mounting of the mirror must be performed by following the instructions given by the manufacturer. 2. Mirror should be handle with special care in order not to scratch its front or rear side. 3. It is advised to cut the power source off during the installation of the mirror (switch the fuse off). 4. Once unpacked, the mirror should be carefully lifted. Protective foam and corners protection should not be removed until the mirror is mounted. 5. Mirror should be mounted using the hangers included in the set. 6. Before placing the hangers where indicated, it is necessary to degrease the area using the alcohol-based wipe included in the set. In the case of mirror with a heating mat, do not install hangers on the whole surface of the heating mat, a significant part of the hang must be placed on the mirror pane. In the case of a mirror with a cover on the sides with the lighting, put the hangers directly on the pane, not on the cover. 7. Hangers should be stuck by pressing them firmly to the previously prepared area. 8. The mirror should be left for 48 hours so the hangers attach properly before mounting. 9. Before drilling holes in the wall make sure that there is no pipeline or electric line in the wall. 10. The hooks should not be tighten up too much; they should be adjusted to ensure even position of the mirror on the wall. 11. Cable endings should be stripped for less than 5mm so the copper leads do not extend from the connector. 12. Interfering in the electrical components is strictly forbidden, any interference results in warranty void (unless the manufacturer approved the interference) 13. The mirror must be cleaned only with glass cleaner and soft microfibre cloth. 14. Original packaging should be kept during the warranty period. CAUTION! Connection to mains should be performed by a qualified electrician. 3

Connect brown line running from the transformer with brown line of your mains cable (brown line in your mains can also be alternatively marked black, red, grey or white). Connect blue neutral running from the transformer with blue neutral from your mains. Connect yellow-green running from the transformer with yellow-green from your mains (protective earth). II. Colors of the cables may differ from those given above, however it is essential to pair them accordingly (line-line, neutral-neutral, PE-PE). IMPORTANT INFORMATION! The transformators 30W, 40W, 50W don't have protective earth (PE) The transformator 80W have protective earth (PE) 5

6 Bathroom zones Depending on their construction, mirrors are certified with certain protection level (IP). Protection level of IP20 means that the mirror can be mounted in bathroom zone III. It is a 2.4m wide area next to zone II. Protection level of IP44 means that the mirror is protected from water splashing from any direction. It is designed to use in bathroom zones III, II. Zone II is the area of 0.6m around bathtub and shower. 6

7 Maintenence Use the LED mirror according to its intended design and according to the manufacturer's specifications. LED Mirror should not be exposed to excessive moisture. LED Mirror should not be additionally loaded (except mirrors with an extra glass shelf) to avoid loosening the mounting hooks. Mirror should not be built in the wall. Do not interfere with the electrical system of the mirror. Any malfunction should be reported to the manufacturer who will repair or replace the mirror. Failure to follow the instructions will void the warranty. 7

Warranty period: 24 months of a purchase date Territory of the warranty: EU. WARRANTY TERMS Obligations The Manufacturer hereby ensures that the products under this warranty were released to the Buyer in a state free from any physical defects. The liability under this warranty covers only defects inherent to the item sold. The Manufacturer grants to the Buyer a 24 months warranty (2 years) counting from a purchase date covering the quality of the item sold. As part of warranty rights, all the defects undoubtedly arising from manufacturing errors or material defects due to the Manufacturer s fault will be eliminated. Such defects may be eliminated through the uncharged repair or replacement of a defective part, or if the repair or replacement of such a part is not possible through the replacement of the entire product or price reduction, or product price reimbursement. The replaced defective parts or defective product will become the Manufacturer s property. Any complaints under this warranty will be considered only when goods were not modified and when, after considering the positions of both parties, such defects are to be attributed to FORAM, and when the Buyer took necessary measures in order to maintain the goods in their original state until the complaint validity is confirmed, after considering the position of the parties or, if possible, until the goods are re-shipped. A product must be checked before mounting. If any defects are discovered, it must not be mounted. It is necessary to follow the mounting, servicing and operation instructions as well as cleaning and maintenance guidelines. In each case, the Manufacturer s warranty does not apply to: Mechanical damage, Damage resulting from incorrect use or maintenance or conducted against the rules, Tampering or design changes introduced to products by persons not authorised by FORAM. Placing a complaint: A basis for placing a complaint under the warranty for defective products is a warranty card with a purchase document (receipt, bill, invoice). 8

9 A buyer is obliged to inform on a defect discovered a defect revealed in the warranty term immediately, nevertheless not later than within 30 working days of a discovery date, A condition for accepting a complaint is handing over a complete product (after prior determination of handing over conditions) and all the documents (receipt/invoice, a warranty card), If the Manufacturer ascertains the validity of claims submitted as part of the warranty, the Manufacturer will eliminate defects within 14 working days of a complaint acceptance date, If a given defect cannot be eliminated or its elimination would or could result in the deterioration of a product quality, a price may be lowered provided that the Buyer agrees to such conditions, If the goods are replaced with the new ones, a warranty period is renewed, After the expiry of a warranty term all the repairs will be charged. 9
