WARRANTY Every product manufactured by Normand Co. Ltd is guaranteed against manufacturing and raw material defects (excluding the P.T.O. shafts, gearboxes, engines, hydraulic motors, hydraulic cylinders, telescopic cylinders, tires, hubs and wheels, which are covered by the manufacturer warranty) for a full year from the date of purchase, provided that the product has not been modified or abused in any way. This warranty does not cover accidents or breaks caused by objects other than snow (metal bits, concrete, wood, asphalt, tires, etc.). Also blades, skid shoes, soles of skid shoes, driving chains and tires wear is not covered by the warranty. We will replace or repair any defective part at no cost if they are returned prepaid at our plant in Saint-Pascal (Kamouraska, Québec, Canada). Our obligations are limited to the replacement and/or repair of the defective part. US$ Price List 2

8 US$ 2017 IMPORTANT NOTICE The lifetime of the driving shaft and its components such as forks, seals and tubes depends on several factors that cannot be controlled by Normand Company. The following issues directly affect the lifetime of the drive shaft: Too big tractors (an excessive P.T.O. angle) The P.T.O. joints The angle on each end of the P.T.O must be equal. The shear bolts (use only the original bolts) The frequency of lubrication and the type of grease used (good quality grease, industrial-type) Maximum length of the P.T.O. In the event that one or more of the above mentioned situations applies, we suggest you as an option the following solutions. To increase the distance from the tractor to the snowblower would reduce the angle at the joints. A bigger driving shaft (for an intensive use when the tractor is at the top of the recommended power would extend the lifetime of the shaft when the operating angle is moderate. A driving shaft with multilobe tubes (would facilitate the sliding of the tubes) The installation of a raiser and reducer gearbox 1000 rpm to 540 rpm on the snowblower would reduce the angle and mechanical stress of the P.T.O. on the tractor. The Essa + scraper blade is powered by two cylinders that can move down the scraper blade and raise the blower 7 ½ '' when the scraper blade is lowered to the maximum. The cylinders are positioned so that they optimize the strength, the robustness and the durability of these and points of articulation. Deployed to the front of the snowblower, the scraper blade Essa + is the only one making it possible to pick up the snow further ahead and avoiding to leave piles of undesired snow in front of garage doors or other obstacles. The scraper blade deployed also allows you to start forward without delay, increasing your speed of execution while providing a better quality of surface cleaning and better service The scraper blade, in the raised position, allows the use of the snowblower its full cutting height (for snow blowers 1 auger). The scraper blade is easily removable. The body of the scraper can be removed simply by removing two attachment pins. Therefore the snowblower may be used conventionally. Rubber blades are fixed over the entire width of the scraper and along the sides.
