With both sides of seat frame plate underneath the locking channels of the base frame plate, continue to slide until an audible click from both locking buttons is heard O: f an audible click is not heard from both locking buttons, wiggle seat frame plate back and forth until an audible click is heard his will ensure the seat frame is locked into position W ake sure the locking pins of the quick-release pin are fully released BFO operating the wheelchair. he locking pins U be protruding past the top of the seat plate assembly for a positive lock. 9 FO POCU 2 djustable ngle Flip-up Footplate epth djustment (FU 5) O: Observe the angle of the articulating footplate for reinstallation emove the two (2) flat screws, washers and locknuts that secure articulating footplate to the footplate hinge ove the articulating footplate to one (1) of four (4) mounting positions O: f desired depth is still not obtained, rotate the half clamp on the footplate hinge 180 o etighten the two (2) flat screws, washers and locknuts O: he settings for positioning the articulating footplates on the half-clamps may vary for each footplate lowly turn the nylon adjustment screw in or out until the adjustable angle footplate is perpendicular to the footrest assembly or the desired inversion or eversion is obtained Footrest upport Footplate FO VW OF FOOP FOO UPPO. 12 POCU 3 -rm elease ever - Unlocked Position Wheelchair Frame -rm ocking ever (owards the front of the wheelchair ) et crews Outside - rm Post nside -rm Post -rm elease ever - ocked Position FU 3 - JU H - - HH -rm ocket lot FU 2 - /OV H - -rm ockets (FU 6) oosen, but do not remove the four (4) hex screws and washers that secure the -arm socket to the - arm clamp O: he -arm socket will disassemble if the four (4) hex screws and washers are removed JU H - Height (FU 3) Unlock the -arm by flipping the -arm release lever towards the inside of the wheelchair O: f necessary, pull out on the -arm release lever and rotate 180 o so it can be flipped towards the outside of the wheelchair lide the -arm to one (1) of the eight (8) positions O: f the inside -arm post does not slide up and down in the outside -arm post as desired, perform one (1) of the following: 6 lide the -arm into the -arm socket until the locking lever is in the slot in the -arm socket and an audible "click" is heard queeze the -arm socket the -arm clamp together until the socket is flush with the -arm While holding the -arm socket and the -arm clamp together, tighten the four (4) hex screws and washers securely Press in on the locking lever and lift the -arm straight up and out of the -arm socket epeat P 3-6, if necessary until the -arm slides in the -arm socket as desired ighten - ightening the set screws on the outside -arm post will make it harder to move the inside -arm post up and down B oosen - oosening the set screws on the outside -arm post will make it easier to move the inside -arm post up and down ock the -arm by flipping the -arm release lever towards the front of the wheelchair -arm Hex crews and Washers -arm ocket Hex crews and Washers FU 6 - JU H OCK 12

13 JU H F /O U - - (FU 7) emove the -arm from the wheelchair efer to - /OV H - in this procedure of the manual emove the two (2) bottom socket screws that secure the side guard to the bottom clamp Perform one (1) of the following: mall ide uards - ove the bottom clamp up one (1) of two (2) mounting positions in the side guard arge ide uards - ove the bottom clamp up one (1) of three (3) mounting positions in the side guard e-secure the side guard to the bottom clamp with the two (2) socket screws ecurely tighten nstall the -arm onto the wheelchair efer to - /OV H - in this procedure of the manual O O OV H OU CW ide uard -rm ransfer ssist POCU 3 emove the phillips bolt and locknut that secure the X locking lever to the bottom bracket O: he locking lever is spring loaded Place your free hand over the locking lever to prevent the parts from springing off of the bottom bracket emove the X locking lever and spring from the bottom bracket O: nspect the spring for wear and damage eplace if necessary Position the spring on the bottom bracket as shown in FU 8 Position the W locking lever onto the spring and the bottom bracket O: ake sure the two (2) extended ends of the spring are inside the notch in the locking lever 6 ine up the mounting holes in the W locking lever, spring and bottom bracket 7 8 W O O over tighten the locknut that secures the locking lever to the bottom bracket.
