Since 1981 we ve been supplying high quality drills, reamers, routers and countersinks to a variety of specialist markets. We supply high quality tooling for composite cutting applications to specification with a focus on innovation and quality. From our manufacturing site and Head Office in Oldham, Lancashire, UK we design and manufacture cutting tools for distribution to the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, India, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates. Customers Our specialist cutting tools can be used in a wide number of applications and are purchased across a broad range of industries. These include; Commercial Aerospace Motor Racing Military Aerospace Maritime Specialist Engineering Our Aerospace customers include Aircelle, Spirit Aero Systems and BAE Systems. We have created a sustained partnership with these businesses to achieve mutually beneficial long-term relationships. We offer technical support and advice to our customers on tool application and how to get the best from our tools. Gandtrack Ltd also re-grind, re-work and recoat existing cutting tools. 6 High Standards Knowledge and experience are fundamental in our industry. Over the last 3 years we have developed a culture of continuous development and re-investment to make our production methods more efficient, obtain the highest standards of tooling and keep prices low. We have invested in our management systems, machinery, software packages and staff training to ensure that our products and customer service are second to none. We use the latest technology in cutter inspection methods and we are ISO91 and AS91 accredited. Company History Throughout the 198 s and 199 s, our main customers were the BAE sites at Warton, Salmesbury and Strand road. We were contracted to supply cutting tools for their composite development programme the EAP project, now of course known as the European Fighter Typhoon. We also supplied the first tooling package for the wing manufacture. During the same period we also used this technology in Aircelle, formally known as Lucas Aerospace. We supply tooling for the machining of composite materials to a number of companies worldwide, including HAL, NAL and Isro in India, Terma in Denmark, CTRM and Spirit Subang Malaysia, Spirit Prestwick and BAE Systems (Warton and Woodford sites). We were also involved in developing tooling for the L.C.A project India. 5

7 Tool Management Systems We are passionate about providing solutions that exceed expectations. Vending systems have been developed in direct response to the requirement of on-site precision tools. ISIS Systems tool vending machines allow our clients to manage stock levels efficiently. We receive information from these vending machines to monitor the usage of our products, which ensures you don t get left without products when you need them most. It also eliminates the threat of theft, human error and stock management. Every tool has a part number so we know the exact quantities that have been taken from the system. Facilities Gandtrack has always endeavoured never to sacrifice quality in its products, investing heavily in new technologies and machine software in production and inspection. Our aim is to supply superior products with the right geometry for the materials being used. This ensures longer lasting cutting tools, which produce the best quality finish and the highest quality products. Inspection The Walters Heli-Toolcheck 3C is employed at Gandtrack Ltd to achieve high accuracy in Metrology Technology. In conjunction with the metal processing industry, Aerospace engineering or Automotive manufacturing, in times of ever increasing demands on tool precision and productivity, we also see a sharp rise in the requirements on the measuring technology employed. We are capable in documenting accuracies in accordance with AS91, ISO91 and QS9.
