It is the world s first 9-speed automatic transmission with hydrodynamic torque converter in the premium segment. The larger ratio range allows a reduction in engine speed, Performance remains excellent while ride comfort is enhanced and noise levels are reduced. In conjunction with the Off-Road Engineering package, DYNAMIC SELECT is equipped with up to five further preconfigured drive programs for better off-road capability. These are operated using the off-road buttons, the central control panel and the touchpad. The off-road settings facilitate an optimum vehicle configuration even in less than optimum external conditions.
