2 SEIZURES EFFECTED IN THE ONTH OF OCTOBER, 2014 On , officers of the izoram Excise & Narcotics, Aizawl seized 83 grams of at Customs Check Gate, Seling, izoram. 01 yanmar National was arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was yanmar. On , officers of the Border Security Force, 105 th Bn., Ferozpur, Punjab seized kg of and handed over to the NCB Sub Zone, Amritsar for action under the NDPS Act. The drug was thrown across the fencing on IndoPak International Border in side. The suspected source of seized drug was South West Asia. On , officers of the NCB, Chennai Zonal Unit seized kg of Pseudo Ephedrine at the premises of a Courier Company. The suspected destination of the drug was South Africa. On , officers of the 24 th Assam Rifles intercepted one otor Cycle and seized 52 grams of and handed over to NCB, Imphal Sub Zone for action under the NDPS Act. 03 persons were arrested. On , officers of the NCB, Ahmedabad Zonal Unit seized kg of Hashish from a parcel which was dispatched by 01 Kashmiri person and transported by Rajasthan Roadways bus. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of the NCB, Chennai Zonal Unit seized kg of at Chennai Central Railway Station. 01 person was arrested. Further, in follow up operation conducted on , 01 person was arrested at Tiruchirapalli International Airport while he was trying to escape to Sri Lanka. On , officers of the Border Security Force, 163 rd Bn., Bhikhiwind, Punjab seized kg of and handed over to the NCB, Amritsar Sub Zone for action under the NDPS Act. The drug was thrown across the fencing on IndoPak International Border in side. The suspected source of seized drug was South West Asia. On , officers of the Goa seized 250 grams of Hashish, 4.12 grams of LSD and 2.44 grams of DA at Bardez, Goa. 01 British National was arrested. On , officers of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Ludhiana intercepted a truck at Ludhiana and seized kg of. The drug was concealed in two sacks. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of the Customs Preventive, aharajganj, Uttar Pradesh intercepted a vehicle at ItahiaNichlaul Road and seized kg of Hashish. The drug was concealed in 16 small packets. 03 persons were arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was. On , officers of the Customs, Agartala, Tripura intercepted a vehicle at Agartala and seized 11,200 bottles of Phensedyl Cough Syrup. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of the Delhi apprehended 03 persons and seized 890 grams of. 04 persons including 02 Afghan Nationals were arrested. On , officers of the NCB, Delhi Zonal Unit intercepted a parcel at RLO Post Office, Jhandewalan, New Delhi and seized 280 grams of orphine. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Canada. On , officers of the NCB, Chandigarh Zonal Unit intercepted a vehicle at Pinjore, Haryana and seized kg of Opium along with Currency of Rs.6,32,430/. On , officers of the NCB, Ajmer Sub Zone intercepted a vehicle at Village Nausar, AjmerPushkar Road, Ajmer and seized kg of Ganja. 02 persons were arrested. The drug was concealed in a bag which was carried by the accused. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of the Customs Preventive & Intelligence Unit, Siliguri seized kg of Hashish at Bagdogra Airport. The drug was concealed in two travel bags. 01 National was arrested. On , officers of the NCB, Jammu Zonal Unit intercepted a vehicle near village Nud, Dhar Road, Samba and seized kg of Hashish. 03 persons were arrested. On , officers of the 164 th Bn. of Border Security Force, Dera Baba Nanak, Gurdaspur, Punjab seized kg of and handed it over to the NCB, Amritsar Sub Zone for action under the NDPS Act. The drug was thrown across the fencing on IndoPak International Border on side. The suspected source of the seized drug was South West Asia. On , officers of the NCB, Bangalore Zonal Unit seized 23 blots of LSD at Bangalore City Railway Station. 03 persons were arrested. On , officers of the Customs, Preventive Unit, Shillong intercepted a vehicle at East Khasi Hills, eghalaya and seized bottles of Phensedyl Cough Syrup. 01 person was arrested. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Bangladesh. During the month of October, 2014, officers of the Customs, FPO, New Delhi intercepted 20 parcels containing 285 grams of, 228 grams of Ketamine, 60 grams of Hashish & 70 grams of Ganja. The suspected destinations of seized drugs were USA, Australia, Scotland, Israel, United Kingdom, and Norway. During the month of October, 2014, officers of the Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB) seized kg of Hashish, kg of Ganja & 130 grams of Opium in 11 cases and arrested 13 persons including 08 Foreign Nationals (01 Germany & 07 Nationals). The suspected source of the seized drugs in most of these cases was. SEIZURES EFFECTED EARLIER BUT REPORTED IN OCTOBER, 2014 On , officers of the West Bengal seized kg of Hashish at Burtalla, Kolkata. 01 Polish National was arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was. On , officers of the Border Security Force, BOP Lankamura, Agartala seized bottles of Phensedyl Cough Syrup near back side of the Agartala Airport boundary and handed over to Customs Preventive, Agartala, Tripura for further action in NDPS Act. The drug was found dumped of filled sacks and boxes staked up in scattered way. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Bangladesh. The suspected source of the seized drug was yanmar. On , officers of the Tamil Nadu intercepted a vehicle at Vellore and seized 475 kg of Pseudo Ephedrine. The drug was concealed in 05 packages of HDPE sacks and further packed in 02 cardboard cartoons. On , officers of the Central Bureau of Narcotics, Ghazipur intercepted a otor Cycle and seized 3400 injections of Buprenorphine at Varanasi.
