5 High & low water alarms These alarms operate with a mechanical fl oat switch and cable. The indoor Tank Alert is housed in a NEMA 1 metal enclosure and features a red warning light, horn with silence switch and test button. The indoor/outdoor Tank Alert is the same as the indoor model but housed in a Type 3R watertight, thermoplastic enclosure. Alarms sound when water level rises. A fl apper moves with water fl ow, actuating a magnetic switch on the outside of the pipe. An internal switch can send a signal to a warning system or to put in function or stop a heater, a cooler, a pump, etc. FS-2 The ST-9 is factory adjusted to close the circuit at 14 gpm and open it at 6 gpm, but is also fi eld adjustable over a wider range. ST-11 and ST-12 have a selectable N.O./N.C. setting and can close the circuit at 13 and 1 gpm respectively. The FS-2 product has a calibration screw for different applications. These systems are mostly used as a technique to inject air, oxygen or ozone. Many tests have shown a transfer effi ciency of over 99% for applications that use ozone. Our injectors are made of PVDF (black Kynar), a high quality plastic that resists ozone oxidation. Works with a minimum pressure of 10 psi and only requires a differential pressure of 16% in order to start the vacuum process.
