4 6 Transducers 7 Integrameter INTEGRAMETER is the last born in our line of on-board metering products and integrates in a single product many functions that were previously divided into multiple components from different suppliers. Thanks to this patent, Microelettrica has become the one supplier in the world to create and deliver a compact and fully integrated device which characteristics, both in the high voltage section and in the low voltage metering section, offers maximum reliability and safety. A terminal is connected to the pantograph while the other is directly connected to the AC High Speed Vacuum Circuit Braker. A third terminal is directly connected to the DC High Speed Circuit Braker with an external device that provides the measurement of the current of 3kVDC lines. Particularly suitable to be installed on existing electric city transport vehicles as Tramway or Metro which requires one automatic energy management system for monitoring and billing. City Metering is a two units electric parameters measuring system for urban rail transportation (Light rail, tram, filobus, etc.). 50 N P1 Transmiting Antenna 273MHz Device s connections: P1 to Pantograph P2 to Power traction circuit N to Ground P2 12 The transmission frame contains the following information: Vehicle Code identification Energy consumption Recovered energy A self fed transmitter unit is mounted on the vehicle s roof by the pantograph to measure the instantaneous electric parameters (typically voltages, currents and consumed traction and auxiliary services energy). A fixed receiver unit usually located by the depot s gate, detects a close transmitter unit, wireless (434MHz) receives the measured data and stores the information. A serial port allows easy laptop downloading of this information for monitoring and optimization purposes. Data energy transmission is done via antenna (434MHz) to one receiver which is positioned at the depot gate. The system includes the ground receiver connected via serial bus to PC and SW for data management.

10 18 Transducers 19 Thepsys Thepsys is a device that has a diagnostics function able to detect power supply failure or thermocouple break.
