Bottom rolling hangar doors are designed and built to endure massive wind load, withstand strong weather conditions, and offer the tightest, most reliable all-weather protection allowing for long-lasting performance reliability. 9 Infrared Radiant Heating: The heating units are gas-fired infrared radiant continuous tubes. The internal air temperature for radiant heated buildings may be lower than for a conventionally heated building to achieve the same level of body comfort, when adjusted so the perceived temperature is actually the same. LED Lamp Lighting: Light emitting diode (LED) lamp technology is rapidly advancing and quickly becoming accepted as the lamp of choice in aircraft hangars. An LED lamp has several advantages over conventional lamps, including: Converting energy in useful light 50%+ more efficiently; high luminous efficacy; a life span of over 50,000 hours; no warm-up period providing nearly instant full-brightness; radiate very little infrared radiation or ultraviolet radiation which can be damaging to certain materials; disperse light where needed; environmentally friendly in many ways.

10 Aircraft Servicing Pods: The hangar includes four pods to assist in the servicing of aircraft. The pods are strategically placed throughout the hangar to maximize the ease of use regardless of aircraft location within the hangar. Each pod includes a 208 volt 30 amp power unit connection, a 480 volt 60 amp power unit connection, four compressed air lines with quickcouplers, four 110 volt electrical outlets, a retractable ground-wire and hose bib. Ventilation: The hangar air ventilation system consists of two exhaust fans with opposing-wall air in-take dampers installed in the upper area of the hangar walls. The system provides an efficient method of providing fresh air and cooling the hangar during the summer months. Additionally, a Big Ass Fan is located in the hangar to provide destratification of the air within the hangar. The fan assists in creating a uniform temperature throughout the hangar, reduces energy costs and increases comfort of people working within the hangar.
