2 About TCS Total Control Systems (TCS) is privately owned, manufacturer of piston and rotary positive displacement flow meters and flow measurement systems located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. TCS is a division of Murray Equipment, Inc., the oldest and most experienced supplier of agricultural chemical handling systems in the United States. TCS was formed in 1995 with the purchase of the 682 series meter from Tokheim Corporation. Four years later, TCS added the 700 series rotary meter to its product line.

3 About TCS TCS meters are designed and created using sound engineering principles and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines in a stateof-the-art manufacturing facility. Over 95,000 sq/ft (8,825 sq/m) of floor space for inventory, quality control, production, machining and packaging. Total Quality Management ISO 9001 Certified manufacturer, ensuring quality manufacturing throughout the production process.

4 About TCS Each meter is flow-tested in an automated calibration test laboratory before shipment to ensure the highest in measurement accuracy. All sub-components are individually tested with automated controls to pass or fail unit.

5 About TCS Application specific flow meter assemblies, created with modular components to meet system requirements for accuracy. Applications include custodytransfer measurement of fuels, fertilizers, chemicals, alcohols, solvents, and more for construction, farm, factory, vehicle, vessel and loading rack installations.

12 Accessories (Air Eliminators & Strainers) Standard For systems with a normal amount of entrained air High Volume For systems with a heavy loading of entrained air Bulk For metering into storage, process operations with a heavy loading of entrained air The function of an air eliminator in a metering system is to remove entrained air and vapor from the metered liquid before it enters the meter in order to ensure accurate measurement of liquid only. Air elimination is required by Weights & Measures authorities for custody transfer metering applications. Air eliminators operate by temporarily chambering the liquid and allowing air to rise to the surface (top of the chamber) where it is vented to atmosphere by a float or solenoid operated valve. The air eliminator is typically mounted to the meter inlet flange as shown above.

The purpose of the valve is to start and stop flow of liquid through the meter. Mechanical valves are hydraulically balanced and actuated via mechanical register linkage. Electronic valves are solenoid operated and are most often applied with electronic registers. Differential Pressure actuated

15 Other Services Meter calibration service TCS operates a NIST-certified flow laboratory to provide customers with meter calibration services for TCS meters, as well as meters manufactured by others. Meter repair service TCS retains a staff of experienced and highly trained service personnel to repair and refurbish meters to like new condition, regardless of manufacture.
