4 Piacenza Plant TECNOFORGE, established in 1965, consists of two manufacturing plants producing more than 25,000 tons per year corresponding to about 2 million butt-welding fittings. The Company manufactures a large variety of butt-welding fittings in accordance with all international standards and codes and the most stringent customer requirements. The products can be supplied in all ferrous materials and exotic alloys from 1/2 to 100 and with a wall thickness up to 200 mm. Each manufacturing phase, from forging to welding, from machining to testing, is carried out with a vast range of technologically advanced and impressive facilities. The range of control valves has been extended to include both rotary and linear styles without limitations of use. Particular attention has also been paid to turbine by-pass processes where the PRDV patented design has successfully fulfilled severe applications in some important power stations. 6 NEW PLANTS Dyna-lok design is known for high performance butterfly valves, dedicated to chemical, petrochemical, power, oil and gas transmission, and cryogenic services valves for the flow control technology extending the performance benefits into the region of low temperature ( -196 C), suitable for LNG applications. Thevignot (1906) and Vanadour (1957) are recognised respectively for their high quality plug and butterfly valve products generating extensive and positive in service feedback from all major customers. Both the balanced plug design and the butterfly valves are manufactured in the headquarters of Valvitalia, where product expertise and spare parts are available. Assembly, testing and repair of imported products from Italy Emirates Plant VALVITALIA EMIRATES L.L.C. has been opened in May 2009 in Mussafah industrial area Abu Dhabi, the main purpose of this facility is to test, overhaul and perform maintenance for every kind of Valvitalia valves, actuators, skids and process equipments installed in the U.A.E. and other middle east countries. Valvitalia Emirates L.L.C. can also provide killed technicians ready to perform services and interventions directly on sites and platforms. The future plan is to have assembling and painting activities of valves, skids and pig traps in Abu Dhabi.
