12 What is a Critical Rotating Part? High-energy parts that cannot be contained if they fail, parts whose failure could create a hazard to the aircraft Definition resides in CFM/GE/SNECMA Procedure and agency regulations Disks, Seals, Spools, Shafts Classification invokes specific technical and operator responsibilities 12
