Combustion engines and fuels must be considered as a combined system. Properly optimized, the combination of advanced fuels and modern engine technologies offers a large potential for CO 2 emission reduction and fuel efficiency. The 2 nd Conference on Ad- vanced Fuels for Sustainable Mobility brings both of these interacting worlds into focus, reviewing the state of the art, discussing new technologies, and highlighting emerging strategies. The conference will offer an open exchange about future-oriented developments in engine technology, fuels and fuel system components and will provide unique opportunities to form relationships, establish collaborations and support the industry stakeholders to jointly develop a strategic vision.
