2 John Bidwell John has shot clays for the last 45 years representing his country since 1978 in the Great Britain Shooting Team, John s distinguished achievements include 7 World F.I.T.A.S.C. Championships, European and British Open titles to name just a few. John started the High Lodge Shooting School in 1980 and has developed it into one of the best shooting grounds in the country; subsequently voted the top shooting ground in the UK by the readers of the Clay Shooting magazine in a nationwide survey. Manufacturing, Quality and Build The entire range of Auto Sporter Clay Trap machines are designed, manufactured, built and used on-site. 3 Welcome to John Bidwell s range of Auto Sporter Clay Trap Machines The range of Auto Sporter Clay Traps are manufactured on-site by a team of experienced engineers and technicians and are used by individuals, local gun clubs and many top shooting grounds and clubs throughout the World. The John Bidwell Auto Sporter range of clay traps has a reputation for being innovative in design, with a very high build quality to a standard that ensures very long life and low cost of ownership. Like John Bidwell, these machines are hard to beat on style, quality and performance at an extremely competitive price tag. Traps are manufactured from steel with corrosion resistant silver plating or a red powder coated finish, a high performance British motor gearbox, adjustable to springing teal on most models, fast re-cocking times, and all sporting machines convert to hold midi and mini clays when our adapters are fitted, clay knife separator for wet sticking clays and most models can be supplied with wheels. All machines are supplied with a 50m push button release cable as standard for ease of operation. You can however upgrade to either radio control or voice operated release. 5 100m 380m Midi-Mini Optional SUPER CLUBMAN Fitted with an 8 turret carousel holding 380 clays, this machine has a one-way bearing clutch, 12v high powered quality motor and gearbox unit with a throwing distance of 100m. 100m x280 Midi-Mini Optional FIREBIRD An excellent 12v all round clay trap, with a 280 clay carousel. A throwing distance of 100m, high powered motor and gearbox with a one-way bearing clutch. wheelbase sold separately 100m x280 BATTUE MACHINE Dedicated to throw battues, this machine will throw battues normally or upside down 90m to 100m throwing distance, also fitted with the knife roller system to split wet or frozen targets.

Shooters will find it near impossible to read the sequence, and the motor also switches off after each shooter. The DTL can also be switched to sporting mode as well as continuous oscillating mode. 75m x360 ABT MACHINE With a large 360 clay capacity carousel and an auto-timer fitted, this trap will automatically switch-off after each shooter. Designed for rough ground, the solid wide wheels ensure that it doesn t sink into muddy ground. RADIO CONTROL SYSTEMS All traps are wired to accept radio control units which can be fitted retroactively if required. This rugged radio release model has a range of up to 200m which is more than an adequate distance for most clubs and personal use. Models also available for multi-use on more than one machine i.e Skeet and Compact. TRAP HAT The new trap hat covers your traps and keeps them dry during all weather conditions. No more wet.
