3 The facts are simple. We ve made solar simple. Our aim We conducted a survey of 2,000 people to find out what the public really thinks about solar power. We wanted to understand just how much the British public know about the technology, and at the same time bust some myths and demonstrate the value that solar panels can add. Our results From our findings, it s clear to see that although demand for renewable energy is continuing to grow in the UK, general understanding of solar power remains limited. Our survey results showed that price, cost savings and aesthetics are among the most important factors driving purchasing decisions.* However, our research also revealed a host of misconceptions around solar energy. 4 Our response Our innovative solar panel solutions have been designed to address these misconceptions and to support our customers in the construction industry as homeowners increasingly look towards solar energy. With 31% of the British public expecting to have solar panels installed by 2020, the simplicity of our solution and the added benefits of working us mean that we re perfectly placed to respond. * Based on a survey of 2,000 respondents in June % were unaware of where to look for information about solar panels 78% considered price to be one of the most important factors 41% overestimated the cost of solar panels by up to 5,500 33% said that they aspire to have solar panels installed on their home 31% believe they will have solar panels installed before % said that they were more likely to purchase a new home with solar panels 17% believe solar panels can only be fitted on houses with south facing gardens

Our packages are suitable for a wide range of markets, including commercial operations, residential developments, agricultural land and individual households. One source of liability As well as providing a 10 year warranty for parts and labour, we also coordinate the entire process from design all the way through to maintenance, so you can rely on one party for full accountability. One guarantee On installation, we provide a certificate that states exactly how much output we expect the system will deliver. If the output has fallen short at the end of the kwh performance guarantee period, we ll make up the difference. One invoice Our solar packages are costed as complete solutions, including design, delivery, installation and guarantees. You ll receive one invoice for everything, as opposed to reams of paperwork from a number of different parties. 6

5 Guaranteed to deliver. Guaranteed kwh performance. Each of our solar packages come with a certificate stating exactly how much energy it is expected to yield over the kwh cash back guarantee period, which is available for five or ten years. All systems are then continuously monitored, and at the end of the guarantee period, we cross-reference the performance data generated against the certificate delivered at installation. If the actual kwh output is less than the guaranteed amount, we will compensate the owner for the difference at the rate of 6p/kW. This minimises any risk - we promise a return and our system simply delivers. 8

Panel & Roof types Roof types Monocrystalline panels are often considered the superior choice when it comes to residential solar power - partly due to their pure black even finish but also because of greater efficiency. However, today s top of the line polycrystalline panels, blue in colour, offer great efficiency and also represent a clear value proposition. With the MC2 package, there is an option of integrating the solar panels into the roof, which ensures a sleek, flush finish. We also provide sizes and variations to suit virtually all roof types - flat, pitched, curved and metal, as well as ground arrays. Quality assurance Two monocrystalline packages are both available, in full black finish - the on-roof MC1 and the in-roof MC2. We also offer a polycrystalline package, PC1, which provides an efficient, cost-effective solution. All our solar panel packages are CE marked, certified by the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and manufactured in line with the following standards: IEC 61215, IEC IEC 62716, Easy to use. Easy to see savings. All our solar panels are fitted with inverters for wireless remote monitoring connectivity, which enables you to check the output of your panels in real time and analyse performance via a sophisticated interface for web-friendly devices. Our smart Wi-Fi monitoring system also allows you to check electricity usage in individual rooms or appliances. Based on this information, you can make decisions to change your consumption and reduce your energy bill. 10
