2 TRID, TSTD AND APPROVD UNC R65 certification The majority of Haztec lightbars, s and beacons are independently certified to the United Nations regulation C R65 (also known as C65 or UN65). Products certified to the regulation meet minimum standards for light intensity or brightness at all necessary angles. The approval process also verifies flash frequency and light colour under Class and/or the more stringent Class conditions, in addition to water ingress protection. The certification provides independent verification of the effectiveness of a product s warning capability. UNC R0 certification Haztec products are similarly submitted for independent testing to UNC Regulation 0 for electromagnetic compatibility. Wider certification In addition, many of our sirens are homologated against country-specific standards including those in France, Germany and Italy. Products are tested for their resistance to corrosion, water ingress and other environmental conditions such as humidity, ensuring they provide reliable, trouble-free operation under wide-ranging climatic conditions. We also endurance test our sirens and speakers. Conformity of production To ensure our products meet the rigorous requirements of Conformity of Production (CoP), we carry out regular internal auditing of our manufacturing processes. The procedures employed verify that every product we manufacture corresponds to its specific type approval. With these control measures in place, quality is guaranteed. 3 R65 APPROVD INTGRATD LD SYSTMS Purpose-designed system of single and dual colour LD modules and linking power connectors, suitable for applications where s are integrated into the vehicle roof The complete assembly can be easily connected to flash controllers or more advanced switching systems for synchronisation control, arrow patterns, cruise and high/low power modes, and siren/pa function Various configurations are available to suit all vehicle types. For example, the assembly consists of 3 x 3LD 9W ILS modules with x angled linking power connectors, making one pod.
