1 Welcome to the 2019 NESBA Winter Guard Championships! Salem High School 77 Willson St Salem MA UPDATE: 3/25/19 FINAL UPDATE State time: 12 Noon Gates open to units and spectators at 10:45AM Admission- $15.00 adult $10.00 High School Students and younger/senior Citizens. Children 5 years of age and under are free. CASH ONLY!!! NESBA 2019 Winter badges are NOT VALID at this event. Unit managers must pick up staff and student wrist bands at the unit entrance. (Back Door) Unit entrance and bus parking will be at the rear of the school. Units will need to check in and confirm performing numbers and ticket contract sales. (PARKING RESTRICTIONS ARE IN PLACE SEE PARKING PAGE BELOW) The Salem HS complex is a smoke free environment. Locker rooms are available on the lower level of the school. Please make sure your students and their belongings are supervised as NESBA and Salem HS are not responsible for stolen or lost items. Please remove all of your equipment from the locker rooms and hallways as soon as you have performed. Retreat- There will be TWO retreat ceremonies. Members will be called onto the floor after your unit leaders have been brought into the gymnasium. Unit leaders will meet in the equipment warm up gym prior to the award ceremony. PLEASE do not leave any materials on the floor after the award ceremonies. This includes flowers, balloons and any clothing/shoes. Cafeteria- The Salem HS Boosters will have a full service cafeteria available throughout the entire day. The café is located on the upper level of the school.

2 Warm Up Areas- Space is limited to BODY Warm Up in the Auditorium upper level. Equipment warm up will be in the small gym lower level. THERE IS NO WARM UP ALLOWED IN THE CAFÉ OR THE FRONT LOBBY! Parking- School busses and any trucks will park in the small lot behind the school. Once your unit has performed and all equipment is loaded. Trucks and busses WILL be asked to move to the BOWDITCH SCHOOL Parking Lot AND ON TO WILLSON STREET. Please remember.. this is a large show with many people in attendance. Parking will be handled as best as possible. Please note- there are handicap spots available at the front of the school. Spectators are asked to park in the front lot of the school or on the road along the side of the school. ** Units from the first half of the show who will stay all day will be asked to park your busses and trucks/vans at the Collins School 29 Highland Ave. This will help provide space for the second half of the show. PLEASE REMIND BUS AND TRUCK DRIVERS TO STAY WITH VEHICLES UNTIL THEY ARE OFF THE SCHOOL GROUNDS AND IN A PERMANENT PARKING LOCATION. BUSSES AND TRUCKS CAN NOT STAY IN THE LOT BEHIND THE HIGH SCHOOL AT UNIT DROP OFF FOR THE ENTIRE DAY. POLICE AND FIRE WILL NOT ALLOW ANY VEHICLES TO PARK IN FIRE LANES. YOU WILL BE TOWED IMMEDIATELY AT YOUR OWN COST. WARM UP SCHEDULE WILL BE LISTED BELOW ON FINALS WEEK!!!!!
