1 Student Parking Regulations Duration These regulations take effect one week before and after the regular school year for students and will be enforced from 7:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. every day classes are in session. Student Parking Permits Student parking permits will be issued by the Newton Police Department on the following dates: August 28 & 29 for the Senior class. August 30th for Juniors and Seniors. The Traffic Bureau hours are 10 am to 5 pm at the Police Annex; 25 Chestnut Street, West Newton. There is a fee of $25 payable by check or money order to the City of Newton due at the time of application. You must apply in person with a copy of your registration, your valid driver s license, Parent Permission form and the $25 fee on the days designated above. A parking permit allows you to legally park in a designated area, it does not guarantee you a space. 3 Student Parking Permit Form The Newton Police Department will be issuing NNHS Student Parking Permits. You must bring this form, your valid driver s license, a copy of the vehicle registration and the $25 fee (payable by check or money order to the City of Newton) to the Newton Police Department Traffic Bureau located at 25 Chestnut Street, West Newton. Elm Theater Entrance, Tiger Drive, Loading Dock/Receiving Area, Visitor and 15-minute spaces (parking in these spaces will result in immediate towing at the owners expense).
